Audio Podcast: Vegetarian Food for Thought
WHAT IS A PODCAST? If the term "podcast" is unfamiliar to you, just think of it as an independently produced audio or video broadcast that you download from the Internet. You do not need any special device such as an iPod or mp3 player to listen to or watch our podcast, but the advantage of having one is that you can listen or watch from wherever you are. If you don't have such a device, you can listen to the podcast while you sit at your computer. (Visit the page for our video podcast, The Compassionate Cook.)
WHAT OUR PODCAST IS ABOUT: "Food for Thought" offers a unique perspective that leaves listeners feeling supported, motivated, and inspired. Celebrating a way of life that encompasses compassion for everyone, this podcast addresses all aspects of eating a compassionate, healthful, whole foods, plant-based diet and advocates a sustainable food system that supports organic, local, seasonal fare. Each episode addresses commonly asked questions about being vegetarian/vegan, including those regarding animal rights, food, cooking, nutrition, and debunks the myths surrounding these issues. Drawing upon poetry, short stories, and other forms of literature, this is a unique podcast that works on many levels.
