'The Voice' Contestants to Embark on Summer Tour

.
Following in the footsteps of American Idol, NBC’s hit music competition show, The Voice, has a tour in the works. The tour is scheduled to feature the program’s eight finalists: Beverly McClellan, Vicci Martinez, Dia Frampton, Javier Colon, Nakia, Xenia, Casey Weston and Frenchie Davis.
.
According to multiple sources, the show’s coaches, Christina Aguilera, Cee Lo Green, Blake Shelton and Adam Levine, were also asked to join the tour by organizers Live Nation, but they couldn’t reach a financial agreement. In addition to promoting the show, the tour will also give NBC another way to make money—and we’re sure every little bit helps when you consider that at $2.3 million per episode in production costs, the show is the network’s most expensive unscripted show to date.

Lady Gaga Launches Tumblr Fashion Page
by Emily Zemler Jun 28, 2011 at 10:57 AM.
.
Lady Gaga recently launched a Tumblr page called Amen Fashion. The blog, which Gaga started earlier this week, basically features photographs of the singer in various outfits along with some quotes.
.
The page is named after a bonus track on Gaga’s new album Born This Way called “Black Jesus † Amen Fashion.” Gaga, who has over 11 million Twitter followers, has already found the Tumblr pages to be highly popular. It’s unclear how many followers the page actually has since Tumblr doesn’t make those number public, but you can bet a lot of the singer’s Little Monsters are following.
