Hey, won't requiring me to demonstrate knowledge and proficiency in order to get a permit violate my rights too?  Actually, I'm waiting for a special exemption when the subversives decide violent criminality is a disease and those people should get preference...

Not sure how much effect this will have, since HS diplomas don't mean much to a lot of employers anymore. It's getting very common for employers to administer their own VERY basic reading and math tests for even low paid jobs, since diplomas from gov schools are no guarantee of any such skill.

On the other hand, a debased diploma might be the perfect documentation to prove a qualifying lack of brains to be a cop (see next post, re: Only Ones Smrt* Enough)
