In regards to VIPR teams

With the news about the TSA’s VIPR teams doing random checks all over the place, I’ve been doing a lot of thinking.
I am a Citizen… I am a Free Man, even if I have decided to comply with some (most?) of the governments demands simply to keep myself out of prison and alive (what good is being Free if you’re dead?) There are keyboard commandos out there that yell about how if you pay taxes, or sit back and “take it”, or whatever then you are not a Free Man. Well, I have to insert a distinction here. I AM a Free Man, I’m just not allowed to live freely. Now, I’m not asking for an argument on who, exactly, is supposed to “allow” me to live Freely. I know that the only way I can be truly Free is if I act accordingly. The person that does not “allow” me to be Free is me. I have grudgingly agreed to live by the governments rules under certain circumstances. I am not happy about it, but I do what I have to do in order to remain alive and out of prison so that my family is taken care of. While I am still out of prison, I do what I can to advance the cause of Liberty. Anyway, back to the topic at hand…
I have been trying to decide what to do when I roll up on one of these VIPR checkpoints. I have made my decision. The thing that has taken me the longest was deciding whether I wanted to share this decision or not. Having said that, I realize that by putting this decision out there, I am putting myself into a LOT of potential ‘Hot Water’. But, I want the enemies of the Republic to be able to see in advance what their actions will eventually bring, whether it’s from me or someone else. This is being posted as a warning, not a threat (I am not threatening to harm any innocent individuals, ever).
So, here goes:
1) I am a legal citizen of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and these United States of America.
2) I am a Free Man.
3) I am capable of defending myself, and willing to do so as well.
4) I recognize that the department of homeland security, the transportation security administration and their visible intermodal prevention and response teams are in direct violation of the Constitutions of these United States and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

Now to my response when I find one of these criminal enterprises in action:
1) I have a smart phone with the ability to live feed video to the internet, and it will be rolling and feeding before I come to a stop at said checkpoint.
2) I will knowingly submit to some violations of my G*d-given and unalienable rights in order to be allowed to pass through this checkpoint.
3) Even though I will eventually submit, I will put up a verbal fight and get as close to the line of being arrested as I feel comfortable doing without actually getting arrested.
4) I am breaking no laws for which they can legally arrest me (While Open Carry is legal without a license in Pennsylvania, being inside a vehicle is considered concealed and therefore requires a license in accordance with state law. I have a valid License to Carry Firearms issued in Pennsylvania.)
5) After I am ‘cleared’ to go about my business, I will deliver any non-combatants from my vehicle to a safe location and I will return from a distance… there will be no live video feed of any further actions, but there may be video of one form or another available at a later date.

This is my decision, and I will live and die by it.

This guy has *not* attended every Tea Party meeting I was at. He’s a problem for the Tea Party.

Maloney 1
Maloney 2

This guy is a party hack that has been (successfully?) attempting to infiltrate the Tea Party movement. I know that we here in NE PA are not alone in this. Tea Partiers, give these people the boot. Stephen is the reason that I don’t attend meetings. After he and I had a discussion at one of them and he basically told me I was an idiot for being an Independent.

Yeah, the Independents that research the candidates are the reason the country is screwed.

Asshole.

I’ll let you know if he responds.

UPDATE 29 December, 2011 1020 hrs

Stephen didn’t respond to me, but someone else did. I responded to him and then stepped away for a while. When I came back I did a refresh to see if there were any new comments and this is what I saw:
Maloney 3

Hmm, interesting. So I decided to do a search for Stephen R. Maloney (per the name on the above screen shots) and this is what I saw:
Maloney 4a
Maloney 4b

Very interesting. Either Mr. Maloney jumped off of Facebook or he has banned me from seeing and commenting on his posts. I suspect the latter… How very ‘democratic’ of him.

Anyone on Facebook want to check him out and see what he had to say about my remarks now that I can’t see him? If you can send me screen shots, that would be great.

Another note, I can no longer see the “notification” that was just there telling me there were comments to that post.

UPDATE 30 December, 2011 0656 hrs
It turns out that Stephen R. Maloney is not the person that I met at Scranton Tea Party events. I am now not sure if I ever actually met him in person, but I’m not sure what else would have induced me to add him as a Facebook ‘friend’. However, having said that, the conversation remains valid and people like him are still a problem for the Tea Party.

Trouble Sleeping Ahead

A very disturbing thought just occurred to me.
Remember a couple of months ago when the DOJ decided to make it legal for them to lie to anyone and say that “no documents exist” in response to any FOIA requests they might receive?
OK, now there’s this new NDAA that does not specifically prohibit the indefinite detention of American Citizens captured on American soil just because the government says so. (No link, it is recent enough that damn near every blog and even some “mainstream” “news” networks are talking about it).

So, the thought that occurred to me was:
Fedgov decides I’m a threat. They break into my house and manage to capture me without killing me or my family. They ship me to Gitmo. My wife contacts an attorney who then contacts the agency that my wife says entered my house (they all have big white letters, right?). Said agency denies entering my house and denies the existence of any documents about me or any investigation they may have had ongoing about me.

What next? My wife saw them do this, hell, maybe the neighbors saw it too. But the government says it didn’t happen. What then?

Does this disturb anyone else as much as it disturbs me?

I need to update my security and figure out how to safely feed that video somewhere other than my home computer. At least that way there would be evidence of these “unidentified bandits” that the lawyer could use to get “law enforcement” involved in looking for me. I mean, after all, if a government agency didn’t take me it must have been a gang of criminals (but why would they leave my family behind?)

OK, I need to stop now, I’m scaring myself.

I know Pete posted this piece here, but this so big that it needs more eyes on it.

Ann Barnhardt – I’m Calling For A General Financial Market Strike
posted December 20, AD 2011 9:10 PM MST

I have received a few emails asking if I was still content with my decision to shut down my brokerage. Not only am I content, but after seeing the news that broke over the weekend, I am of the considered opinion that the entire financial blogging community should formally call for a general financial market strike. And I’m not kidding. A couple of things have happened regarding the MF Global mess that I don’t think got the attention they should have because they broke over the weekend. So let me fill you all in.

First, all notions of personal property rights were essentially destroyed when the MF Global “trustee” began seizing customers’ gold and silver bullion held in storage if that bullion was purchased through contracts brokered by MF Global. In case you’re not following, let me restate. MF Global customers who traded in precious metals and actually took delivery and OWNED bullion, as in outright, free and clear OWNERSHIP, complete with a warehouse receipt (aka title) with SERIAL NUMBERS designating exactly which physical bars they OWNED, and were PAYING RENT to STORE their own property in a “secure” VAULT, complete with statements indicating that these storage fees were paid in full, are having THEIR PROPERTY THAT THEY OWN AND ARE PAYING RENT TO STORE CONFISCATED by the MF Global trustee in order to feed the gaping maw that is the MF Global “estate”.

This would be EXACTLY like if you rented a little storage space at one of the thousands of storage facilities that dot this nation, and stored a car there. I used to do exactly this when I had multiple cars. Imagine the owner of the storage facility went bankrupt. Now imagine that a “trustee” SEIZED YOUR CAR, sold it, and used YOUR PROPERTY to feed the storage franchise owner’s BK. Nevermind that you had an explicit RENTAL AGREEMENT and that you had receipts proving that you were paying monthly rent on said storage space, and that you could produce clear title to the car showing that you owned it, and that the VIN numbers matched.

Do you understand what is happening now? This is outright confiscation of personal property. After having their money stolen out of their accounts and being locked out of their accounts, unable to trade or even liquidate WHILE THE MARKETS CONTINUED TO TRADE, these people are now having their PERSONAL PHYSICAL PROPERTY stolen and redistributed to the MF Global estate, in order to feed Corzine’s gambling debts – MADE ILLEGALLY WITH FUNDS STOLEN OUT OF THE CUSTOMER ACCOUNTS – to repay counterparties with J.P. Morgan at the fore.

So guess what? This is now establishing the precedent that ANY property held by a third party can be seized and confiscated to feed a bankruptcy of said third party. This includes BANK DEPOSITS. Now, please consider that all of the major banks in the United States are insolvent, and insolvent MULTIPLE TIMES OVER. Bank of America, Wells Fargo, Citi, all of them. When these banks collapse – and they WILL collapse – any deposits they are holding WILL BE CONFISCATED and redistributed to their counterparties. Citation URL here at Market-Ticker.org:

http://market-ticker.org/akcs-www?post=199356

Oh, but there’s more.

Also announced over the weekend was the jaw-dropping, yet illuminating fact that the MF Global bankruptcy was fraudulently, nefariously and illegally drawn up as a Chapter 7 BK for a SECURITIES DEALER and NOT a commodity brokerage as it should have been. Look, MF Global was the second-largest non-bank FCM in the United States next to NewEdge which is the old FIMAT. If MF Global wasn’t an FCM, then there are no FCMs. Of course it was an FCM. It had $7.2 billion in customer seg funds as of August 31, 2011. And yet MF Global was immediately, from the get-go, put into Chapter 7 BK as a SECURITIES FIRM. This is fraud. MF Global’s BK should have OBVIOUSLY been established under Subchapter IV of the Chapter 7 code as a COMMODITY BROKERAGE.

Why wasn’t this done? Because in a Subchapter IV liquidation of a commodity brokerage firm, guess who is absolutely and unequivocally at the front of the line? You guessed it: the CUSTOMERS. In the Chapter 7 liquidation of a securities firm, guess who goes to the front of the line? Uh-huh. The “creditors”, aka the counterparties on the firm’s proprietary positions. As in . . . J.P. Morgan, et al.

Now we know why this unprecedented action of raping the customers has happened. It was set up that way. Now are you telling me that NO ONE at the CFTC appreciated the difference between the BK subchapters? Are you honestly telling me that Terry Duffy and NO ONE at the CME understood the difference between a securities firm liquidation and a Subchapter IV commodities firm liquidation and the massive consequences to the customers? Not a single one of them understood this massive difference? Bullshit. Of course they knew. They set it up that way from day one. And they continue to know. And this fricking charade just keeps going and going, and the rape and confiscation of the customers’ property continues apace. The fix was in on the customers and J.P. Morgan was put at the front of the line willfully, intentionally and with extreme malice aforethought by all those parties concerned. Citation Hotlink here:

And this is why I am now formally calling for the financial industry blogging community to officially push for and declare a general market strike. I call for all decent people of good will to withdraw ALL FUNDS from the financial markets and cease to trade in solidarity with the MF Global rape victims until such time as the MF Global BK is properly filed as a Subchapter IV commodity brokerage liquidation and their private property is FULLY RESTORED.

If this is how they’re going to play, I say let’s shut the whole damn thing down. Let’s show these rat bastards how we do things in the Civilized World. Molon Labe.

I am in the process of receiving all of my 401K funds and then I will be out of ‘The Markets’. I plan to take the percentage of my income that I had been ‘investing’ in my 401K and using it to purchase gold & silver. I know that Selco says it’s pretty useless in a SHTF situation, but the way I see it is the money I was putting into a 401K is for the distant future and the money in my regular income is for the near-term future (I buy my supplies already with what was left). The gold and silver will most likely be worth more in the distant future if/when civilization returns.

Do you know where they are? They know where you are.

Was doing a little thinking overnight and realized I didn’t know where the local offices were. So I decided to look.

FBI Regional Offices
ATF Regional Offices
US Attorney’s Offices
TSA Offices – Funny, I couldn’t figure out how to locate their offices.
CBP Offices
FEMA Offices
ICE Offices – If you go to the bottom of the page and click on “How do I contact a local field office?”, it’ll give you a dropdown that you can then choose from which will take you to a map locating offices.
USCIS Office
OIG Offices – I can’t find their offices either.

Do with this information what you think is necessary.

Declaration of War

I just sent this to Tom Marino’s (PA 10th) legislative director:

Drew
Justify to me how Tom voted yes on the bill that allows capture and indefinite detention of American citizens captured on American soil without the benefit of any trial.
I am not asking for this, I am demanding it… Agreeing to this bill is a Declaration of War on the People of the United States.
You can try to claim that there are provisions that protect citizens, but before you tell me that; define a terrorist and explain to me how any TEA Party member, extreme couponer or Mormon couldn’t fit into the loose definition of ‘terrorist’ in this bill.

There is a very slim chance that you can convince me that this act cannot be abused now by the obama administration or in the future by any other administration.

I understand that it was included in the DOD appropriations bill, but it would have been better to vote no and defund the military than to allow this evil through. And this is coming from someone that has a LOT of friends currently serving overseas in combat zones. I do not make this statement lightly. It would be better to bring them and all of our equipment home than to pass this bill. So, claiming that he “had” to pass the bill to “take care of our troops” is a bullshit answer. That is NO reason to declare war on the People of this country.

I cannot stress this enough. The House and the Senate have declared war on We The People and the president is expected to sign it tomorrow. He has already said that he would not veto it. Do you fucking idiots have any god damned idea what you are fucking with. I personally fit into several of the “suspected terrorist” categories. When the government decides to come and get me, PEOPLE WILL DIE. Yes, I will most likely be one of them, but I will not be the only one. You fucking idiots are playing with a flamethrower in a fucking magazine and expecting life to go on. Do you have any idea what Tom and the other 283 congressmen have just done?

There is a saying in my line of work. I work in Industrial Safety, specifically in mitigating the chances of a dust explosion. Basically there are 4 things you need for an explosion to occur: 1) Enclosure 2) Fuel 3) Oxygen and 4) Spark. The saying is that ignition is free. You can do a very good job of reducing the risks of the first three, but ignition is free. What that means is that any little thing, the tiniest piece of scrap from an operation picked up and blown through the system until it contacts a ferrous metal will set it off. I was just told about an incident at a plant. The plant did everything they could to eliminate all hazards, and they did a very good job. But one day, someone was smoking outside in the parking lot and flicked the butt. A pigeon picked it up and flew into the warehouse, then got too close to a vacuum line and the butt got sucked in. An explosion occurred. It never should have, they did everything they could to prevent it, but the spark was free.

Now, having said that, the government has created the first three conditions and now you’re playing with matches.

Tom, and everyone else that passed this bill will be held responsible when the civil war that you have just declared on the population explodes.

So, again, tell me where I’m wrong. I will be very surprised if you can convince me I am wrong, but I do have an open mind. And if you can convince me I will share that with the people I know.

If you can’t convince me, congratulations on starting the next civil war. Are you prepared for it?

Mark Roote

I’ll let you all know if I get an answer. Prior to this, Drew and I have been in irregular conversations regarding Fast & Furious and some other things. It was enough that I am confident he will recognize my name. Up til today I had respect for Tom, I can almost guarantee that respect is gone.

Quote of the Day

From the comments thread to More confiscationist silliness from the Sincere Advocate of Civil War Department we get this gem:

i wholeheartedly agree, but i would like to make a correction, under tyranny i don’t just get one vote, i get lots of them. and that reminds me, i need to go buy more votes. . .

That comes from Lucusloc

I like that. It lead me to thinking that yes, in America, you CAN buy votes. I don’t like politicians, so I wouldn’t dream of wasting my money on them, but these other votes… now those I can invest in.

Lowe’s versus the PC Crowd

Have you heard about the crap that Lowes is getting because they pulled their advertisements from the TLC show “All-American mulsim”?
Lawmakers Slam Lowes For Pulling Ads from muslim-American Reality Show

OK, so Lowes gets some complaints from a conservative group known as the Florida Family Association. The FFA said the program was “propaganda that riskily hides the islamic agenda’s clear and present danger to American liberties and traditional values.” I haven’t seen the show, but I’m inclined to believe them. Why? Well, I have read the koran and I’ve made up my mind about islam. I have no desire to watch muslims lie to obtain their goals.

You might ask how I could claim to “know” that this show is full of lies. I won’t quote the koran, go read it for yourself to find where it tells muslims that it is perfectly acceptable to lie to the infidels in order to defeat them.

More reasons why I know it’s full of lies? OK, this show follows 5 muslim families in Dearborn, Michigan… Why do Dearborn and muslims stand out in my mind??? hmm… could it be any of these stories?:
Dearborn, Michigan: muslims physically attack Christian groups
sharia Comes to Michigan
Dearborn, Michigan: America’s First sharia-Compliant muslim Enclave?
Dearborn, Michigan: America’s muslim Capital
Michigan: the islamic capital of the US
First muslim congressman excites crowd in “hezbollah City” USA, a.k.a. Dearborn, Michigan
The signs of sharia in Dearborn Michigan
Lawsuit: ‘Honor killings’ OK by Michigan shariah

Nah, it couldn’t be any of those things. Dearborn muslims are obviously persecuted and discriminated against because they’re muslims, nevermind the fact that the police enforce sharia law over Constitutional law anywhere the muslims gather.

And then we come to this: Rep. Keith Ellison (D-MN) also said Lowe’s is choosing to disregard the First Amendment. and this Calling the Lowe’s decision “un-American” and “naked religious bigotry,” Sen. Ted Lieu, D-Torrance, told The Associated Press he would also consider legislative action if Lowe’s doesn’t apologize to Muslims and reinstate its ads.

So, by deciding not to spend their own money supporting a show that they have decided is against their (corporate) beliefs, Lowes is somehow violating the muslims 1st Amendment rights? How the hell does that work? Aside from the fact that islam doesn’t recognize any individual rights for anyone in the first place, Lowes is no longer allowed to decide what is the best investment for their company? Wow. I know that Obamacare is mandating that we each purchase a “good or service” from a private entity (private until it’s a single-payer system run by the government), but now the PC crowd is attempting to tell a corporation that they have to advertise on an anti-American show because to pull your advertisement is somehow violating their right to Free Speech. Where are the people calling for the separation of Church and State? Oh, that’s right, islam is not a religion, it’s a form of government.
