It appears Razer has settled on a design for its Switchblade concept computer. The peripheral maker has announced that Project Fiona will be unveiled at CES 2012 next week, a product that will deliver PC gaming in an "all-new form factor."

At CES 2011, Razer took the wraps off of the Switchblade, a compact portable computer with a 7" display and a fully programmable tactile keyboard. The concept design won the company a Best of CES Award from CNet, and it hasn't been seen since. It looks like that will change next week. Posting on its PCGamingIsNotDead promo site, Razer announced Project Fiona. See the teaser below:

Razer said it will pull the curtain back on Project Fiona on Tuesday, January 10 at CES. We'll keep you posted. And in case you missed the unveil of the Switchblade last year, here's the trailer (which is off the charts on the unintentional comedy meter):

Last: the Switchblade and Project Fiona are not to be confused with the Blade, the $2,800 notebook computer Razer unveiled in August and billed as the "first true gaming laptop." The Blade was originally expected to ship in time for the holidays, but it was bumped and is now scheduled for an early 2012 launch.
