In My Own Words:
Here's looking at you, kid... Rosebud!... His eyes! What have you done to his eyes?!... Open the pod bay door, Hal... I'll give him offer he can't refuse... They have five hundred years of peace and what did that produce? The cuckoo clock!... My mother, uh, what's the phrase, isn't quite herself today... I've got a bad feeling about this... Gentlemen, you can't fight in here; this is the… Read more

Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim by Bethesda

Even though Oblivion built a very strong foundation for the Elder Scrolls series, Bethesda Softworks felt the need to introduce what I think is a pretty substantial overhaul to the gameplay in their latest, massive single-player fantasy role-playing game, Skyrim.

What I think are the good changes:

- Two-handed combat is beautifully executed in Skyrim. It is a bit tricky to set left- and right-hand actions, but combat now has a whole new dimension. The China Question [Blu-ray] Blu-ray ~ Brook Silva-Braga

This 90-minute film visits a few Chinese manufacturers and interviews several Americans and Chinese to obtain a diverse collection of insightful opinions on the current economic cold war between the US and China. It veers off course a bit and spends more time than necessary, in my opinion, to discuss China's human rights issues, but the information presented is fascinating nonetheless. The film first aired on CNBC in June this year and is one of the better and more in-depth documentaries on the subject.

Buyers should beware that this Blu-ray disc from Earthchild Production is a burned disc in BD-R format. Not all players can play BD-R discs, so check your manual. The 1080p… Read more
