After Shadowland left us with a sour taste in our mouths, we were jaded curmudgeons on Daredevil. We had no idea how Mark Waid was going to possibly turn this sinking ship around. But it serves us right for not placing complete faith in Mr. Waid and the rest of the creative team handling Daredevil. Instead of continuing down the dark road the Daredevil series has traveled for years, Waid and company decided to let Matt Murdock be happy again -- and what a difference it’s made. This new direction for the Man Without Fear has breathed life we thought not possible back into this limping series, producing one of the most enjoyably fun reads you’re likely to find in 2011.
