The Bantams have bolstered their attacking ranks this Thursday by completing the loan signing of Bury winger Andy Haworth.
Haworth, who can operate from either the left or right flank has joined from the League 1 Lancashire side on a one month loan deal that will keep him at Valley Parade until 14 February 2012.
Subject to the relevant clearances, Haworth will now go straight into contention for a place in City's squad for this Saturday's npower League 2 fixture with Morecambe.
The 23 year old will wear squad number 26 during his time with the Bantams this season.
City boss Phil Parkinson said: "With Michael Bryan and Jack Compton going back, I just felt we needed another wide option available to us.
"Andy knows this division well and is a winger, who likes to get at defenders.
"He's an attack-minded winger and can play either on the right or left flank.
"Andy has come in initially for 28 days to give us a chance to see what he can do and to give him a chance to take a look at us as well."
Haworth is no stranger to League 2 football after playing 45 times in the Bury side that gained promotion into League 1 last season.
The winger has also featured in City's division for Rochdale during the 2009/10 campaign and for Oxford United earlier this season.
