Superman-X Tuesday, January 24, 2012 11:09:28 AM

It's a bit curious all builds from 11.60 crashes on exit (end in report-error-dialog window), when I install the deb packages but when I run Opera from tar the won't crash on exit.

Both with fresh profiles.

Any ideas ?

Yes confirmed. I remember posting about this a few builds ago, but noone confirmed so I don't think I reported it as a bug.

Win7 x64 SP1.

Anyone having problems with slow scrollong on facebook etc, are likely to not have gotten the browser.js update yet.

What does this page say:

http://www.opera.com/docs/browserjs/

Mine says:

Opera Desktop 12.00 core 2.10.238, January 20, 2012. Active patches: 174 .

Are you testing with Wahoo? with 11.61 the message is: Opera Desktop 11.60 core 2.10.229, January 9, 2012. Active patches: 177

PraetorianX Tuesday, January 24, 2012 12:03:39 PM

Didn't we already established one build back that there is no updated browser.js for the Opera 11.61 for some reason?

Ok. The problem is the same on all browsers.

OlegSmilyUser Tuesday, January 24, 2012 12:36:14 PM

Is there any opportunity to just update it from 11.60?
Ubuntu 11.10 x64 still has conflict... Should I delete 11.60 and install 11.61?

Btw, x86 on laptop updated successfully without any questions

Satan D. Lucifersupertrol Tuesday, January 24, 2012 12:51:52 PM

mhmhmh tested on xp 32 bit too and on gmail with hundreds of contacts i have just a little bit of lag (nothing compared with before). Still unusable on facebook where the scrolling issue is present.

kubat1987 Tuesday, January 24, 2012 12:54:12 PM

I've tested 11.61 RC yesterday and in most casses the smooth scrolling has improved a lot (with exception of Facebook). Just a bit more and I can finally upgrade from 11.52 (most likely to 12, unless there's something else earlier).smile

Hmm, I was running 12, but gave up waiting for snapshots and downgraded. it seems to have kept my browser.js from 12...

Now we need Wahoo.

Jordan TrillesCristallix Tuesday, January 24, 2012 1:39:30 PM

@Haavard, can we expect a Wahoo build for this week or we have to wait a bit more? smile

Anyways, this build is cool by fixing issues, but there still remains others

Sulphide Tuesday, January 24, 2012 2:09:34 PM

Embedded YouTube videos don't work at all. Anyone can confirm? Or does anyone have an idea why this might happen? Thanks a lot!

Using these forums (and several others)...

http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/index.php

I have found then when you navigate to the sub forums and then back up (I use my mouse) I get a big white flash on the screen before it renders the page. So navigating up and down through the sub forums is very irritating and distracting.

Other forums do this as well but I have shown the above as an example as it has a contrasting colour to the white flash and thus stands out.

I have posted in that forum and another two users also has noted it...

One problem I noticed: I have set the close tab button on the top right of the main window, and this button is now invisible, making it very hard to close tabs. This did not happen in 11.60 - can anyone confirm?

MyOpera team, please fix this!fearphage Tuesday, January 24, 2012 3:25:05 PM

\o/ but on to more pressing issues...

Any chance we'll see the return of Wahoo this week after its (greater than month long) sabbatical?

Charles SchlossChas4 Tuesday, January 24, 2012 3:29:03 PM

Security button in the address bar, click it and try details (OS X 10.7.2) button not working anyone one else in 11.61?

Current browser.js status: enabled. Target version and time stamp of the active browser.js file is Opera Desktop 11.60 core 2.10.229, January 9, 2012. Active patches: 177 . Is this ok?
