Two US Air Force Airmen Shot and Killed At Frankfurt Airport

A gunman shot at U.S. Air Force personnel on a bus outside Frankfurt airport Wednesday, killing two airmen and wounding two others before being taken into custody, authorities said.

Kosovo's interior minister told The Associated Press that German police have identified the shooter as a man from Kosovo.

The attack came as the bus sat outside Terminal 2 at the airport, according to Frankfurt police spokesman Manfred Fuellhardt. The bus driver and a passenger were killed, and one person suffered serious wounds and another light injuries, he said.

A source tells Fox News that the shooter yelled "Allahu Akhbar" when opening fire on the U.S. military personnel. He then dropped his gun at the scene, ran into the terminal and was subdued.

U.S. Air Force Europe spokeswoman Maj. Beverly Mock said all four victims were airmen. The were all based at the Lakenheath military base in Britain.

A military official in Europe says the airmen were going to be deployed to either Iraq or Afghanistan.

Arizona and Immigration Bill SB1070

Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer on Friday, April 23rd, 2010 signed into law immigration bill SB1070 in Phoenix to crack down on illegal immigration.

The sweeping measure will make it a crime under state law to be in the country illegally. It will also require local police officers to question people about their immigration status if there is reason to suspect they are in the country illegally.

It takes effect 90 days after the current legislative sessions end in the next several weeks.

Before signing the bill, Brewer called the measure "another step forward in protecting the state of Arizona."

She said the bill "represents another tool for our state to use as we work to solve a crisis that we did not create and the federal government has refused to fix -- the crisis caused by illegal immigration."

Earlier, President Obama called the bill "misguided" and said it could violate people's civil rights. He said he's instructed the Justice Department to see if it is legal.

The bill's Republican sponsor, state Rep. Russell Pearce of Mesa, said Obama and other critics of the bill were "against law
enforcement, our citizens and the rule of law."

Civil rights activists have said the bill would lead to racial profiling and deter Hispanics from reporting crimes.

Brewer said she wouldn't tolerate racial profiling.

Hundreds of protesters gathered at the State Capitol complex Friday calling on Brewer to veto the legislation.

Demonstrators have been camped outside the Capitol since the measure passed out of the Legislature on Monday. Their numbers have grown steadily throughout the week, with buses bringing protesters from as far away as Los Angeles.

About a dozen supporters of the measure also gathered.

GOP Lawmakers Accuse muslim Advocacy Group CAIR of Planting Spies On Capitol Hill

Four House Republicans on Wednesday accused the nation's largest Muslim advocacy group of trying to "infiltrate" Capitol Hill by placing interns in the offices of lawmakers who handle national security issues.

The four lawmakers, members of the anti-terror caucus, asked for an investigation into the Council on American Islamic Relations after discovering an internal memo noting the group's strategy. They also highlighted a new book by Paul Sperry titled "Muslim Mafia," scheduled for release on Thursday, which claims the group has been actively infiltrating Congress.

Reps. Sue Myrick of North Carolina, Trent Franks of Arizona, Paul Broun of Georgia and John Shadegg of Arizona asked the Internal Revenue Service to determine whether CAIR deserves its nonprofit status. They also are asking their colleagues to review a summary of findings that led the Justice Department to name CAIR as a co-conspirator in a terrorism case.

The internal memo, provided to FOXNews.com, stated that CAIR would "focus on influencing congressmen responsible for policy that directly impacts the American Muslim community."

The memo cited three House committees -- Homeland Security, Intelligence and the Judiciary -- as panels on which lawmakers preside over policy affecting American Muslims.

"We will develop national initiatives such as a lobby day and placing Muslim interns in Congressional offices," the memo read.

Earlier this year the FBI severed its once-close ties with CAIR as evidence mounted of the group's links to a support network for Hamas, which the U.S. has designated a terrorist organization.

"It's frightening to think that an organization with clear-cut ties to terrorism could have a hand in influencing policy -- especially national security policy -- within our government," Myrick said. "The investigations that we're asking for are simple, and I'm hopeful that they will bring to light any and all information regarding the goals of CAIR."

Franks called on CAIR to renounce its ties to terrorist groups and state publicly that it does not support Hamas or the Muslim Brotherhood.

"I take the charges levied against CAIR and laid out in this book very seriously because they affect our national security," Franks said in a statement. "This Congress must be deliberate in taking a strong stance against those groups and organizations that align themselves with terrorists."

"We live in a post-9/11 world where the coincidence of nuclear proliferation and Islamic terrorism pose a very dangerous combination and real threat to America's national security," he said. "That is why it is critical, in light of the well supported documents and information, that the U.S. Congress take this issue seriously."

CAIR decried the call as a "racist" and "insidious" attack on Muslims and mocked the allegations.

"If it wasn't so insidious, it would be laughable," CAIR spokesman Ibrahim Hooper told FOXNews.com. "What are their charges? CAIR seeks political participation of Muslims. I'm shocked."

Hooper said the evidence proves only that the group is trying, like every other minority group, to engage Muslims in the political process.

"Why is it evil when Muslims seek political participation?" he asked.

In the book "Muslim Mafia," a six-month sting appears to link CAIR to an organized crime network made up of more than 100 other Muslim front groups that make up the U.S. Muslim Brotherhood. The book claims the group is bent on destroying Western civilization.

Hooper said Sperry's efforts only proved the group's good intentions.

"The guy spied on us for months, stole documents -- and the most they came up with is CAIR seeks to work with policymakers on Capitol Hill?" Hooper said.

"I see it as a stamp of approval."

*Everyone should read this book and see what people like me, who know about this kind of stuff have been saying about CAIR for years. That is, people in and from the Intelligence community and various government agencies, anti-jihad bloggers and investigative journalists (yes there are actually some good ones out there doing their jobs.) It's a shame that American civilians are out risking their personal safety infiltrating groups like this right here in this country. Groups like CAIR should not be allowed to exist! Several of their founders went to jail for funneling money to Hamas and then were deported after their sentences were up, one fled the country, and one is a known terrorist! WTF?!

Radical muslims have infiltrated already the State Dept., FBI, CIA, and the Dept. of Defense just to name a few. Hamas, Hezbollah, the Muslim Brotherhood, Jemmat al-islamiyah and other known terrorist groups surround Washington, DC. That's right, they have situated themselves in locations that have them literally surrounding the city. Why is that? Why would a bunch of desert dwellers and bedouin types choose to live in a place that gets cold as hell, full of snow, ice and sleet. Why the US capitol? Hmmmm.

Anwar Sadat in 1980, one of the main leaders of that attack and also a Brotherhood leader himself was Ayman al-Zawahiri, that's right people, Osama bin Laden's right hand man and #2 in al-Qaeda.

Italy Wants to Prosecute Burqa Women

MILAN – Plans by Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi’s allies to prosecute Muslim women for wearing burqa, a loose outfit covering the whole body from head to toe, is infuriating the political establishment in the southern European country.

"A ban (on the burqa) would be xenophobic and discriminatory,” Mario Scialoja, the chair of the Islamic Culture Center of Italy, told Reuters late Thursday, October 8.

“The existing law should be enforced."

The far-right Northern League is pressing to amend a 1975 law to prosecute Muslim women for wearing burqa.

The law slaps hefty fines and up to two years in jail on people covering their faces with anything preventing their identification by police.

But the Northern League is now proposing to amend the law to ban “garments worn for reasons of religious affiliation”.

The far-right party also wants to remove from the law the expression “justified cause”, which has prompted courts to allow burqa on religious grounds.

Scialoja warned that a burqa ban would stigmatise Muslims, calling on Italian authorities to treat Muslim women with respect.

"We say no to a new law."

The burqa has been a hot issue in many European countries.

Last month, the Italian spa resort town of Montegrotto Terme banned the burqa.

A French MP has also proposed a ban on the wearing, sparking outcry among the Muslim minority and across the Muslim world.

Italy has a Muslim population of some 1.2 million, including 20,000 reverts, according to unofficial estimates.

Those that follow the subject of Islam constantly come across Muslims and Islamic apologists who will say anything to cover for Islam. Some of the most common are: that Islam is a religion of peace and another is the "defensive war" con.

Muslims and their apologists continually tell us that Muslims can only wage war in a defensive response, if they were attacked first. It is true that the Koran calls for Muslims to defend themselves, which is understandable. But there is much more to jihad than these defensive verses.

What Muslims do not want us to know is that there are several other reasons that they can wage war and terrorize non-Muslims. The first being that they can terrorize anyone who contends with Islam in anyway. Contend can mean something as simple as opposing or even debating.

Lastly Muslims and their excuse makers will tell us that the Koran was written for that time period only. This is absolutely not true. The Koran specifically states that Mohammad's actions should be followed by all Muslims until judgement day.

Congressman Rebukes Fellow muslim For Linking islam To Terrorism

Congressman rebukes fellow Muslim for linking Islam to terrorism

WASHINGTON, DC - A Muslim congressman has lashed out against a fellow Muslim on Capitol Hill.

Congressman Keith Ellison denounced Dr. Zuhdi Jasser, president of the American Islamic Forum for Democracy, for warning that political Islam has a militant strain that's used to justify terrorism.

Jasser told a congressional briefing that terrorism won't be stopped until his Islamic faith goes through its own Reformation to separate mosque and state.

Ellison responded by accusing Jasser of giving people a "license for bigotry." The Minnesota Democrat said every religion has its violent extremists, and told Jasser, "I think people who want to engage in nothing less than Muslim-hating really love you a lot, because you give them freedom to do that."

But Jasser declared, "This is an Islamic problem and it needs an Islamic solution."
