ABC is bringing viewers on a spooky new journey with The River, the new horror TV series that counts Steven Spielberg and Paranormal Activity director Oren Peli among its producers.
The series focuses on the search for Dr. Emmet Cole (Bruce Greenwood), a famous TV host who's gone missing in the Amazon. When Emmet's wife Tess (Leslie Hope) and son Lincoln (Joe Anderson) go looking for him, accompanied by a documentary crew, they begin to discover some very strange, unsettling and hard to fathom things are occurring.
