This has raised fears that the United States is moving ever closer to a total militarized police state, and some wonder if people will become desensitized to the implementation of martial law if once they become conditioned to seeing the military roaming the American streets on a daily basis. Others suggest the announcement of the troop deployment is part of some unknown larger plan being implement and due to the coincidental timing with the now apparently relatedpre-positioning of troops equipment and (NOTAM) No-Fly Zones in the Continental United States (CONUS).
Other speculation this may correlate with the debt ceiling talks which now seem to haven fallen apart and entered into the point of no return or if the announcement is related to recently reported nuclear threats from reactors in danger within the US.
The Russia today video attached below covers the many of the questions fears and shows a wide range of reactions from U.S. citizens about the Pentagon’s announcement of stationing 20,000 troops within the United States.
The deployment may also be part of the beginning phases of REX84 (Readiness Exercise 1984) being activated due to a catastrophic event that is yet to take place.
A NASA video recently released alludes to this possibility and issues a warning to all employees regarding living near large bodies of water.
Alternatively, another catastrophic threat from space would be the detonation of the super nuclear EMP bomb a just released defense intelligence report reveals China has been building and testing.
According to a report in The Asia Times, the EMP bomb could be detonated in outer space and would destroy all electronic equipment in the U.S. effectively sending America back to the middle ages in less than one second.

I wondered what was going on these past two months. There have been movements of vehicles, either driven or on trailers going through St. Louis, MO. I have seen convoys, MRAPS on trailers, Hummers, 6×6 and 8×8 vehicles on trailers. Generators, fuel tanks, low slung wheeled Armoured Personell carriers, etc. I really paid it no mind since Scott Air Force Base is across the river in Illinois and Ft. Leonard Wood is just down I-44 about 4 hours away.

China claim to the Diaoyu Islands is based on the “discovery” of unclaimed territory and derives from a range of Chinese governmental contacts and references going back to 1372.
Japan claim is also based on the “discovery” of supposedly unclaimed territory, despite the fact that official Japanese documents, several of which were unearthed by Taiwan scholar Han-yi Shaw, demonstrate that the Japanese government was well aware of China historic claim when it began to take an interest in the islets in 1885.
During the subsequent decade, contrary to the assertions now made by Japan, its officials not only failed to complete surveys of the islets necessary to confirm their alleged unclaimed status, but also recognised that the matter “would need to involve negotiations with Qing China”.
To avoid China suspicion, Japan chose to conceal its intention to occupy the islets “until a more appropriate time”. That time came in January 1895, when Japan by then on its way to defeating China in their 1894 war, adopted a Cabinet decision that the islets were Japanese territory. Yet even that Cabinet decision was not made public until after the second world war.
Moreover, if the US were to become an impartial mediator, it would have to note that Japan claim to sovereignty over the islets is based on a distorted version of late 19th century history that does not pass the international smell test.
It is time for Japan to reassess its views on the international law of the sea. Those of its views that are plainly irresponsible only discredit others that deserve serious consideration.
Perhaps most insulting to the world community is its claim that the rock called Okinotorishima that constitutes Japan southernmost “land”, a reef system with land at high tide no larger than a king-sized bed, is entitled to an EEZ and continental shelf.

Hmmmm…20,000 troops in a country where at least 85% of the people are armed and many are looking at any excuse to fight the government agents. So, our population is 300,000,000 MILLION. With possible resistance from we’ll say 200,000,000 MILLION. 20,000 against 200,000,000. Not fair odds to say the least! LOL!
Can someone provide me with a reputable source for this information that is not written by Alexander Higgins (no offence), is not from RT, and is not referencing the 2008 proposal that should have taken affect in September of 2011. If this is true I want to know about it, but the fact of the matter is there are no really reliable stories that offer anything tangible in the way of details or evidence, just a lot of speculation. When every posting is either dated for 2008 or links back to the same media source (in this case RT), that’s not a very good sign of validity or research.
