Three loan players have today returned to their clubs, while striker Kevin Gall has also left the club after his short-term deal came to an end today.

Tony Kane has returned to Carlisle and Jamie Devitt has gone back to Hull to pursue first-team ambitions.
Kane made four appearances for Quakers, but didn't play in the last two matches against Dagenham and Shrewsbury. Devitt has been a hit, especailly with his manof the match performance against Shrewsbury last Saturday.

"We're disappointed we couldn't convince Jamie to stay a bit longer," said Quakers boss Steve Staunton.

"I spoke to Phil Brown and he was happy for us to extend the loan, but Jamie has his own ambitions to break in to Hull's first team, so we wish him all the best."

Gall has been on a month to month contract, and has scored two goals, against Cheltenham and Accrington Stanley. Goalkeeper Russell Hoult has also returned to Notts County today, but Staunton hopes to take the goalkeeper back for a further loan spell.
