Another two Magpies players saw their contracts expire yesterday, with the Magpies no longer holding their registration.

Deadline day signings Mark Briggs (Above) and Jonathan Bewers were informed soon after the last match of the season that their contracts would not be renewed beyond
24th May 2004, with those deals expiring yesterday.

Briggs joined the Magpies after a spell in
Denmark after his release from West Bromwich Albion, and failed to make an appearance for Gary Mills' side although he was on the substitute's bench once.

Bewers moved to
Meadow Lane on a free transfer from Aston Villa, and made three appearances from the substitute's bench prior to his release.

The remaining players that have been told their deals with Notts County will not be renewed will expire on 30th June 2004.

We wish both players well in their searches for new clubs.
