KEVIN SUMMERFIELD:Ex-England Youth midfielder who netted 17 goals in 54 League outings for Walsall prior to joining Cardiff City in July 1984, then played for Plymouth Argyle and Shrewsbury Town. He has assisted Paul Sturrock at Plymouth, Southampton, Sheffield Wednesday and now Plymouth again.
GERRY SUMMERS:Experienced wing-half who scored once in 44 League games for Walsall before joining Wolves as a coach in August 1967. He managed Oxford United and Gillingham, then coached at West Bromwich Albion, Leicester City and Derby County where he was later YDO until retiring in October 1998.
ANDREW SURMAN:Teenage midfielder who joined Walsall on loan from Southampton in January 2005 and scored twice in 14 League outings. He had a similar loan spell at AFC Bournemouth during the 2005-06 season and has since secured a regular first-team slot with Saints, also gaining England Under-21 honours.
FRED SUTCLIFFE:Centre-forward who joined Walsall from Millwall in July 1950 and made four third division (south) appearances while at Fellows Park before moving to Dartford in July 1951. He later played for Guildford City, then had spells with Ashford Town and Snowdown CW, settling in London.
DAVE SYRETT:Ex-England Youth striker who netted three goals in 11 League outings for Walsall prior to joining Peterborough United in August 1979, then played for Northampton Town and home-town Salisbury. He is now a school groundsman in Warminster and runs youth football coaching courses.
LES TALBOT:Former Blackburn Rovers and Cardiff City inside-forward who joined Walsall in June 1939. He scored The Saddlers' first post-war League goal at Southend in August 1946, netting five goals in 18 third division (south) games before retiring in May 1947. He coached in Holland for over 20 years.
TED TARRANT:Former Hull City wing-half who moved to Walsall in December 1953 and was ever-present in 1954-55. He scored ten times in 102 third division (south) games for The Saddlers prior to joining Cambridge City in July 1958, then played for Clacton Town and settled back in Stainforth.
ALEX TAYLOR:Scottish midfielder who joined Walsall from Hamilton Academicals in August 1988 and featured in consecutive relegation battles, netting six goals in 45 League outings before moving to Falkirk in July 1990. He reunited with John Lambie at Partick Thistle, then played for Raith and Ross County.
BRIAN TAYLOR (1):Versatile full-back who featured in Walsall's 1974-75 FA Cup run and netted 25 goals in 216 League games prior to joining Plymouth Argyle in October 1977, then played for Preston and Wigan Athletic. He settled in Preston and worked in the printing trade until his death in December 1993.
BRIAN TAYLOR (2):Winger who netted 19 goals in 75 League games prior to joining Birmingham City in June 1958, then played for Rotherham, Shrewsbury, Port Vale, Barnsley, Kidderminster, Bromsgrove, Welshpool, Oswestry and Darlaston. He worked as a maintenance man at Brinton's Carpets in Shrewsbury.
COLIN TAYLOR:Goalscoring favourite who starred in Walsall's rise under Bill Moore and moved to Newcastle in June 1963. He netted 169 goals in 457 League games during three spells with The Saddlers, moving to Kidderminster in July 1973. Later a painter and decorator, he died in Dudley in June 2005.
DARYL TAYLOR:Young striker who turned professional with Walsall in July 2004 and scored on his League debut to clinch the following month's 3-2 victory at home to Port Vale. He netted three goals in 30 League games for The Saddlers before briefly joining Bury in August 2006, then played for Tamworth and Halifax Town.
DOUG TAYLOR:Former Wolves centre-forward who briefly appeared in the top-flight before moving to Walsall in November 1955. He netted eight goals in 36 third division (south) games for The Saddlers prior to joining Stafford Rangers in July 1957, then played for Evesham and settled back in Wolverhampton.
KRIS TAYLOR:England Youth midfielder who was a Manchester United reserve prior to joining Walsall in February 2003. He scored on his League debut in the 3-2 defeat at Stoke a year later and helped win the League Two title in 2006-07. Netting six goals in 80 League games, he joined Hereford in July 2007.
MARK TAYLOR:Young midfielder who featured in Walsall's 1987-88 promotion campaign and scored four times in 113 League games before joining Sheffield Wednesday in June 1989. He gave Shrewsbury Town lengthy service and has since played for Hereford United, Nuneaton Borough and Halesowen Town.
JOHN TEASDALE:Scottish striker who appeared in the top-flight with Wolves prior to joining Walsall in March 1982. Featuring in that season's relegation battle, he netted three goals in 13 League outings before moving to Hereford United in January 1983. He played for Blackpool, then settled back in Glasgow.
DAVE TENNANT:Young goalkeeper who contested a first-team slot with Malcolm White and Terry Carling while at Walsall, making 19 League appearances for his home-town club before joining Worcester City in July 1965. He later played for Lincoln City, Rochdale, Corby and Skegness, settling in Lincoln.
THOMAS THOGERSEN:Danish midfielder who joined struggling Walsall on loan from Portsmouth in October 2001 and scored twice in seven League outings while at Bescot Stadium, featuring in 2-0 wins over Stockport and Nottingham Forest. Released by Pompey in May 2002, he settled back in Denmark.
DIDIER THOLOT:French midfielder striker who played for Bordeaux before joining Walsall on loan from Swiss side Sion with Jean-Jacques Eydelie in March 1998. He scored on his debut in a 2-1 victory at Champions-elect Watford, netting four goals in 14 second division outings while at Bescot Stadium.
WAYNE THOMAS:Young midfielder who turned professional with Walsall in July 1996 and regularly featured as a substitute, making 38 League appearances for his home-town club. He was loaned to Mansfield before joining Shrewsbury in January 2000, then played for Hednesford and Rushall Olympic.
CHRIS THOMPSON:Former England Youth midfielder who played for Bolton Wanderers, Blackburn Rovers, Wigan Athletic, Blackpool and Cardiff City before joining Walsall in February 1991. He made three League appearances for his home-town club, then became an insurance salesman in Blackpool.
BOBBY THOMSON:Ex-England International full-back who joined Walsall on loan from Birmingham City in November 1971, scoring once in nine League games while at Fellows Park. Later with Luton Town, Port Vale, Worcester City and Stafford Rangers' player-manager, he then ran a sports shop in Sedgley.
ADRIAN THORPE:Winger who featured in Walsall's 1989-90 relegation battle and scored once in 27 League outings before moving to Northampton Town in March 1990. He had a spell with Hong Kong side Instant Dict and later played for Kettering Town, Arnold Town, Grantham Town and Arnold again.
ANDY TILLSON:Experienced central defender who joined Walsall from Bristol Rovers in August 2000 and captained The Saddlers' 2000-01 first division play-off Final triumph. Scoring twice in 51 League games while at Bescot Stadium, he moved to Rushden & Diamonds in February 2002, then Team Bath, where he is now Head Coach.
LUKE TILT:Young goalkeeper who had played only four reserve games for Walsall when a goalkeeping crisis at the club saw him appear as a substitute for the injured Andy Oakes during The Saddlers' 5-0 defeat at Brentford in February 2006. He was a Midland Youth Cup finalist that season but released in May 2006 and subsequently drifted into the local non-League game.
MADS TIMM:Danish Youth midfielder who helped Manchester United win the FA Youth Cup in 2003 and was loaned to Norwegian side Lyn Oslo before joining Walsall on loan in January 2006. His solitary goal in nine League games came in the 2-2 draw at Chesterfield and he moved to Odense BK in June 2006.
MIKE TINDALL:Ex-England Youth midfielder who appeared in the top-flight with Aston Villa before joining Walsall in June 1968, making seven third division appearances while at Fellows Park. He moved to Tamworth in December 1968 and later became licensee of the Coach and Horses pub in Bromsgrove.
JOHN TINKLER:Former Hartlepool United midfielder who joined Walsall from Preston in August 1993 and played in the first six League matches of the season. Moving to Bishop Auckland in September 1993, he played for Gateshead, Fleetwood, Spennymoor, Prudhoe, Durham, Blyth, Morpeth and Durham again.
