The New Yorker’s David Remnick Moves Beyond the Magazine (Video)

In his interview at D: Dive Into Media today, New Yorker editor David Remnick said that mobile devices, even phones, are creating new opportunities for long-form content.

Remnick said that reading on a three-inch screen isn’t his favorite way to enjoy a magazine, but noted that some people are reading Dickens that way on the subway.

“They are not just always playing Angry Birds,” he said.

Meanwhile, Remnick said the iPad and its future iterations offer an “exquisite” way to enjoy content.
