Wembley-bound Bluebirds Boss Malky Mackay has had a limited edition pie baked in his honour.
The 'Malky MacPie' features prime Scottish beef, an image of the Bluebirds logo on its crust - and lots of Welsh skill thanks to its creator Peter's Foods.
What's more, the Caerphilly-based savouries specialist will refer to all its Premier Pies this week as Malky MacPies.
And 3,000 City fans will be handed free Peter's pastries as they set off in a coach convoy to the Carling Cup Final against Liverpool on Sunday (February 26).
Peter's managing director Mike Grimwood, said: "Malky has already done great things for the club and the city so we're happy to help develop his legend!
"We already have powerful links to City thanks to our pastry products being enjoyed at their stadium; the Malky MacPie further strengthens our relationship."
The limited edition Malky MacPie is a novel twist on Peter's Premier Steak Pie, which will contain prime Scottish beef in honour of Mackay's Scottish routes.
Only a small number of the hand-made cup final pies were created; and hand delivered to high-profile figures around Cardiff.
The 550 workers at Peter's production plant at Bedwas produce around 3.1million pastry products every week.
Mr Grimwood said: "They always rise to a challenge and it was no different on this occasion - there's a lot of goodwill here towards Malky and the squad.
"We wish them all the best on their big day and hope they bring the cup back to Wales."
Peter's Food Service Ltd began life in the 1950s as Thomas Pies, a pie manufacturer in Merthyr Tydfil, South Wales.
