CINCINNATI -- Procter & Gamble is being sued over diaper rash that some parents said is much worse than normal. The suit claims that P&G's 'Dry Max' technology is causing the problems.Seattle-based law firm Keller Rohrback filed the suit in federal court in Cincinnati this week. The suit states that the company should have known about problems with the diapers, including Pampers Cruisers and Swaddlers. The suit asks for the cost of diapers, medical expenses and the cost of treatment for those families who experiences rash problems."It only adds insult to injury when a company blames parents for a harm caused by its product," said attorney Lynn Sarko in a news release. "If the Pampers with Dry Max diapers are not safe, the product should be pulled from the shelves and Procter & Gamble should take full responsibility.""Families across the country have had to watch their babies needlessly suffer," said attorney Gretchen Cappio in the same release. "These diapers wounded the most sensitive parts of their bodies."P&G has said the diapers are safe. The new technology was rolled out earlier this year and was designed to make the diapers thinner and more absorbent. The Consumer Product Safety Commission said last week that it had started an investigation.
