Ricketts Heads To Reebok

Posted on: Wed 29 Jul 2009

Sam Ricketts has left Hull City to join Bolton Wanderers for an undisclosed fee.

The Wales international had been at the centre of transfer speculation in recent days and he agreed terms on a three-year deal with Bolton on Friday night.

Ricketts joined the Tigers under the management of Phil Parkinson in July 2006 in a £300,000 move from Swansea.

He made 129 appearances during his time at the KC Stadium and scored one goal. He was also a key member of the squad that won promotion to the Barclays Premier League in 2008 and helped the Tigers maintain their top flight status last season.

We would like to thank Sam for his efforts during his time with the Club and wish him luck for the future.
