Biography

Despite missing the Rolex 24 At Daytona in 2012, five-time NASCAR Sprint Cup Series champion Johnson is expected to make at least one start in the North American Endurance Championship for GAINSCO/Bob Stallings Racing.

Personal

Along with wife Chandra, founded the Jimmie Johnson Foundation in 2006 to assist children, families and communities in need throughout the U.S.

2011
Returned with GAINSCO/Bob Stallings Racing for the Rolex 24 At Daytona, finishing 12th in DP.

2010
Made two starts for GAINSCO/Bob Stallings Racing at Daytona and Watkins Glen, finishing a season-best sixth at Watkins Glen.

2009
Placed seventh overall in lone Rolex Sports Car Series Daytona Prototype start of season, Rolex 24 At Daytona, with GAINSCO/Bob Stallings Racing.

2008
Placed second overall with Bob Stallings Racing and defending 2007 Rolex Series champs Alex Gurney and Jon Fogarty in Rolex 24 At Daytona.

2007
Finished ninth and 19th in two Daytona Prototype appearances, both at Daytona.

2005
Finished second overall in Rolex 24 At Daytona for Howard-Boss Motorsports.

2004
Finished eighth in Daytona Prototype class and 28th overall in Rolex 24 At Daytona, the initial Rolex Series appearance.
