LOS ANGELES, March 6 (UPI) -- A fire destroyed Los Angeles' 1041 Production Studios, a space where Elvis Presley, Nat King Cole, the Beatles and the Beach Boys recorded, officials said.

The Los Angeles Times said the cause of Monday night's blaze is still under investigation.

No injuries were reported, but the Red Cross was called in to aid displaced individuals, the newspaper said.
