OXFORD, England, March 6 (UPI) -- A student at England's Oxford University sparked a backlash when she used her campaign for Union Librarian to boast about her "great rack."
Madeline Grant, 19, a former model, began campaigning last month for the position of Oxford Union Librarian and released fliers reading, "I don't hack, I just have a great rack," The Daily Telegraph reported Tuesday.
The campaign slogan was condemned by fellow students as "damaging the perception of women."
"Whilst this manifesto is clearly meant to be humorous, it shows a distinct lack of judgment," said a union member who asked not to be named. "It is disappointing to see female members of committee campaigning on the back of gender at all, let alone in a way which promotes the use of sexuality."
A spokesman for the university declined to comment. Results from the election are expected this week.
