I know critics hate this band, bitch this band about but ...
I've been listening to them since 'Leave a Whisper' circa 2003 and all I get is how BASHING the critics can get since then. The band isn't much of a unit except it circles around one member doing MUCH of the writing just once 'Us and Them' proved to be the breakthrough, then came the song "Second Chance" which was a CROSSOVER hit. Whatever 'Leave a Whisper' has done, you'll keep getting it EVEN IF as it shows on this LP. If you don't like it, then you ought to have listened to 'Leave a Whisper' IN THE FIRST PLACE. Imo, the unit keeps getting better in SONGWRITING and it could take MANY listens to sink in, esp "Bully", which explains why some will like it and some won't. I don't mind it. What will be hard to feat, tho, is 'The Sound of Madness' had great songs like "Devour" and "Second Chance" on it. I will just diss the naysayers and dig this album!

what a load of rubbish
"radio friendly pop-rock" - critics describe it. Thats exactly what it is: a lame, nothing original, weak streamline top 40, I would give it a 0, if it was possible...It is really sad that this kind of garbage sells and people pay for this trash...
