Fox News contributor Dick Morris has been reprimanded by the network for having offered a personal tour of its NYC headquarters as an auction item at a Republican fundraiser.

One of the revelations from David Corn‘s new book Showdown that’s making waves is the fact that President Obama blamed Fox News for diminishing his support among white males. On Monday, Fox News’ Bret Baier attempted a brief “fact check” of the book’s premise that “fed by Fox News, they hear Obama is a Muslim 24/7, and it begins to seep in.”, concluding “For the record, we found no examples of a host saying President Obama is a Muslim.”

Today, Corn points out the obvious sleight of hand in that statement, and shares his thoughts on Baier with Mediaite.

On Tuesday, former Secretary of State Condoleeza Rice and chancellor of the New York City Department of Education Joel Klein paid a visit to Fox & Friends to discuss the state of the country’s education system. In light of the pair’s new education report, Rice argued education is a national security issue.

As the Sandra Fluke controversy flounders along as one narrative along the greater opposition to needlessly offensive comments in the media against women, Sean Hannity updated his audience today on the reactions of liberal women to attacks by Bill Maher in contrast to the response to Limbaugh. It was surprisingly silent compared to the previous outcry, a reaction Kirsten Powers called “disgusting.”

Fox News’ anchor Bret Baier hit back at President Obama’s claim in David Corn‘s new book, that he was “losing” support from “white males” because “fed by Fox News, they hear Obama is a Muslim 24/7, and it begins to seep in.”

Baier took the opportunity to correct the record.

“For the record, we found no examples of a host saying President Obama is a Muslim,” Baier corrected.

Bernie Goldberg and Bill O’Reilly don’t think that Ed Schultz is much of a journalist. That is not exactly news, but for the fact that Goldberg used that line of attack to actually defend Schultz from claims that he is in violation of NBC journalist policy for having accepted $200,000 in speaking fees from unions. “I agree it’s wrong,” Goldberg told a somewhat outraged O’Reilly, “but it’s not a violation of MSNBC standards.”

Two weeks ago, Bill Maher aired a report by Alexandra Pelosi on impoverished Mississippi residents that enraged many conservatives, but promised a counterpoint to it the week after. On Friday, Pelosi debuted her report on mostly black welfare recipients, many who appeared unwilling to work and relied on the government. The report appalled Bill O’Reilly, who told his panel tonight he would like to see at least one of the people in the report in jail.

Today on The Five, Dana Perino told a story from over the weekend about how she’d seen a senior citizen get carded in an airport bar. While Greg Gutfeld helpfully pointed out the many practical reasons why restaurants and bars instruct their employees to card everyone, the point of the anecdote, besides totally hurting the feelings of the woman in the story who was actually my 25 year old friend Jane (She got super into tanning salons in the early aughts. Let this be a lesson to all of us), was clear; to illustrate how silly Perino thinks the uproar over various states’ proposed voter ID card laws are. Most of the panel agreed except for Bob Beckel who went off on the law and one of its champions for what he saw as being a planned attempt to disenfranchise minority voters who typically go Democrat.

President Obama blamed some of this troubles on Fox News. Or so says a new book, detailing the president’s first term after the 2010 midterm elections through the beginning of 2012, by political journalist David Corn. In it, Corn writes that Obama felt the coverage on Fox was wreaking havoc on his standing with white males.

If you started your day with Fox & Friends this morning, you most likely 1) got your week’s worth of bare-chested politicians on vacation and 2) noticed a new person sitting on the curvy couch.

Donald Trump phoned into Fox and Friends Monday morning and took several pot shots at Rosie O’Donnell and her failed show on the OWN network. “Frankly, that was just going to happen,” Trump crowed. “I knew it immediately when they announced it. Rosie fails at everything. She had a variety show, it failed. I mean, she — I don’t understand now, somebody else, some moron will come and hire her again to do something else and that will fail. At some point, let her rest. Let her go away. She’ll never make it and i’ve said it for years. She’ll never make it! She must have a very good agent.”

Donald Trump really does not like Rick Santorum. After becoming a Mitt Romney surrogate, Trump has taken to calling for Santorum to step aside and calling him “not a team player” for staying in the race. On last night’s On the Record, he made the same calls, arguing that “women would vote against him like you wouldn’t believe” and he “has no knowledge of economics,” but when asked whether Newt Gingrich, who has won two states, should do the same, Trump abstained. “He’s a friend of mine– and he’s a member of my club in Washington.”

Al Qaeda’s leadership decided to take some time off from trying to kill America to rate our media outlets last week, apparently, and the team at Red Eye were very happy to hear that, while Al Qaeda media adviser (yes, that’s a real thing) Adam Gadahn thought many news networks were mostly fair, he called for Fox News to “die in her anger” as it “falls into the abyss.” After all, the panel agreed, if Al Qaeda likes how they are being covered on your network, isn’t that a bad thing?

Sarah Palin may be not all that happy with the portrayal of herself in the HBO film Game Change, but some of her colleagues on Fox News Watch admitted today that the film made them feel warmer towards her and more respectful of the very difficult challenge before her in 2008 as a recent mother and, for the most part, complete unknown– not to mention, becoming one of the leading female voices in the Republican Party almost overnight.

Cee Lo Green caused a bit of a mild disturbance when news got out that he would be performing his hit single “Fuck You” in front of President Obama for a fundraiser– uncensored. The event occurred last night, and Green did eventually start singing “Forget You” instead, but not before giving the audience the finger while asking, “Can I curse?”

Mike Huckabee does not agree with Sarah Palin that a brokered convention is a good thing for Republicans– though he discourages the idea of Newt Gingrich stepping aside to prevent that from happening. The former Arkansas governor went on Fox News today to describe the brokered convention process to Uma Pemmaraju (“a trainwreck”) and discourage the party from, if it must happen, choosing someone who didn’t run during the primary.

“Rick Santorum sabotaged his chance to get 23 delegates, Bill, he put his foot in his mouth,” Geraldo Rivera told Bill O’Reilly last night as the two debated the candidate’s comments on Puerto Rico– namely, that the English-speaking (though not exclusively) island should learn to speak English if it wants to be considered for statehood. While O’Reilly sympathized with the idea of an official language, Rivera– half-Puerto Rican himself– noted that the problem with Santorum’s comments was the fact that schools there already teach the language.

In his continuing bid to become the President of Buzzkillvania, Rick Santorum has planned to “vigorously” work to “prohibit distribution of hardcore (obscene) pornography on the Internet, on cable/satellite TV, on hotel/motel TV, in retail shops and through the mail or by common carrier,” a position which the vast majority of Americans will solemnly nod along to while silently thinking to themselves “You damn well better not, crazy.” No one had really noticed this plan until The Daily Caller noticed the small reference amongst the candidate’s position papers. As the word “porn” makes for amazing headlines no matter what the context, the story quickly began making the rounds before ending up as a good Friday conversation on The Five.

A hearty round of applause for Fox News: The network enjoys the laudable distinction of having been Al Qaeda’s least favorite news outlet.

On Thursday’s The Five, the panelists discussed a controversial decision by the Fish and Wildlife Service to approve a permit for the Northern Arapaho tribe in Wyoming to kill two bald eagles for a religious ceremony. While many of the others were fine with the exception for the Arapaho, Eric Bolling came out strongly in favor of protecting the Bald Eagle from being shot. “I’m not okay with this,” Bolling opined. “It’s more than a bird and animal. This thing should not be shot, it’s symbol of American freedom. People have died for that symbol. Protect that thing.”

Where there’s a primary, there’s media coverage of said primary. And where there’s important media coverage, Jon Stewart is there to point out just how ridiculous it is. And last night’s coverage of the GOP primaries was no exception. Stewart had some fun with all three major cable networks for how they chose to cover the primaries, whether it was through sexual innuendo, completely obsessive up-to-the-minute coverage, or just ignoring them for regularly scheduled programming.

One of the more surprising accusations of media bias in quite a while was Rick Santorum‘s contention this week that Fox News is somehow in the tank for Mitt Romney. On The O’Reilly Factor tonight, Laura Ingraham defended the network, saying that while most people at Fox probably believe Romney will be the nominee, the coverage has been mostly fair to Santorum.
