By the year 3034, the human race has suppressed all forms of emotion. So when the Reptids (the only unconquered alien race in our galaxy) threaten to release a weapon to reawaken them, it’s up to the Captain (Claudia Christian, Babylon 5) and her increasingly inept crew to travel back in time to stop them from changing the past and altering our future forever. Now plagued by uncontrollable emotions, the crew of the Nemesis find not-so practical ways of coping, whilst Dr Striker (Jeremy Bulloch, Star Wars) looks for a cure in the most unusual places. 

Starhyke is an off-the-wall, tongue-in-cheek science fiction series, it was filmed in Bristol in the UK. It most recently aired on UK television channel SHOWCASE TV (Sky 201 or Freesat 403). The series was sponsored by Forbidden Planet (promoting www.forbiddenplanet.com), the world’s largest and best-known science fiction, fantasy and cult entertainment retailer.
