Since the beginning of our ministry, we've had a vision to have a real physical ranch, a place where we can invite people to come and to get away from the busy-ness of their lives and come into the presence of God.

Just recently we've been able to purchase such a place and we're calling it Clover Ranch. What we have is a house on a couple of acres of land out here in the middle of Central Illinois, and it's a beautiful place just for people to come and get reconnected with God.

Many times, I know for myself it's just helpful to get out in the country, to be able to get alone with my Bible, maybe with family, and to be able to spend time in God's presence. From that time, I'm then able to be refreshed and go back into the world, and into my workplace, or into my marriage, or into my family life, and have a whole new perspective.

People have written to us many times over the years when they come to The Ranch on the Internet, and they ask if they can come in January, or if we have room for them here at The Ranch for them to come, and we have to tell them, "Sorry, it only exists on the Internet." But now we have a chance to have such a place here in reality.

I know that this place is going to be great for people because this is the farm where I grew up. Our ministry has purchased the farm and we're going to try to turn it into a personal retreat center where people can come and be refreshed.

But we're also at the point where we're needing to update the ranch and make it into a place that would be very hospitable for people who are coming. And that's the reason I'm coming to you through this video. I'd like to let you know just about some of the repairs we're doing and some of the work we're doing to make Clover Ranch into a reality.

We need some various projects done, such as a new roof and some siding on the house, all the way down to smaller things, like we need donations of kitchen utensils or decorations around the house itself. We'd love for you to be involved in various ways, but we estimate that it will take about $20,000 to recondition the house and put it in a state where people can use it and enjoy it and be out here and really facilitate their time with God.

We've also taken a loan to purchase the house, and we'd like to be able to pay that back as quickly as possible, so that we can save those dollars, instead of going to interest to the bank, we'd like to put them back into the kingdom work. So we're looking for about $100,000 to be able to restore and put together this place called Clover Ranch.

As I mentioned, it's already been purchased, we already have the property, now we're just looking for donors who can help us to fund the repairs, the restoration, and the initial purchase price. So we wonder if you would be interested in making a donation to the ranch, maybe of $500, $1,000, $2,500 or even $5,000. The quicker we can raise these funds, the quicker we can get started putting the repairs into the house and the quicker we can pay off the initial loan.

Once we have those things in place, we'll be able to invite people out here to come on their own personal retreat with God. We'll also be able to hold gatherings out here, a night of worship from time to time, where we can invite people, and even broadcast these kinds of events over the Internet and use them on The Ranch website to encourage people in their faith even more for people who aren't able to come here in person.

So if you're able to help in any way, that would be terrific. We have a list of items that we're needing donated, and especially if you can contribute to this capital campaign of somewhere between $500 and $5,000, that would be a tremendous boost to us personally, but it would also make a difference in the lives of people around the world, people who write to me from places like Japan or Germany or South Dakota, people who write to me from Chicago or inner city Washington DC and want to get away, and just need a place where they can come, where they can feel safe, and where they can feel like they're able to connect with God.
