More about Education and Naturopathic Medicine in the State of New York or Texas

To obtain the ND degree, Dr. Galloway completed 4 years of undergraduate studies, then an additional 6 years of scholastic and clinical training -- 2 years of Pre-Med studies and 4 years of in-residence education at Bastyr University's Naturopathic Medical School and the Bastyr Center for Natural Health.

As a Naturopathic Doctor, Dr. Galloway is not currently able to "practice medicine" in the state of New York as there is currently not a category of provider called "Naturopathic Physician" available in these states. 14 other states have the N.D. license available and we are working to ensure passage of a Bill to the New York State Legislatures that will one day license N.D.'s. At this time, Dr. Galloway, and all N.D.s in this state are only able to use a portion of their expertise and training in the care of individuals. Dr. Galloway will require you to have your primary care with an MD, NP or DO. Dr. Galloway will be able to provide you with information regarding wellness, botanicals, and nutrients. These should not be construed as "medical advice." Always talk with all of your health practitioners about pharmaceuticals, herbs or other natural techniques you use.
