The Club can confirm that Anthony Gerrard has joined the Tigers on a season-long loan deal from Cardiff City.
Gerrard has made two appearances for the Bluebirds this season, both of which have come in the Carling Cup.
However, the 24-year-old was a regular in Dave Jones' side which reached the Championship Play-Off final last season, making 40 appearances in the League with a further seven in cup competitions.
The cousin of the Liverpool and England International Steven, Anthony began his career as a trainee at Everton, becoming a full professional in July 2004. He did not make any first-team appearances though, and moved to Walsall in March 2005 before joining Cardiff in July 2009.
Gerrard will be available for selection in our next npower Championship fixture against Cardiff on Saturday 11th September as will Seyi Olofinjana for the Bluebirds, who is currently on a season-long loan at Cardiff from the Tigers.
