Goalkeeper Peter Gulacsi is set to be recalled from his loan spell with the Tigers by parent club Liverpool subject to Premier League and Football League approval.
The Hungarian stopper will return to Anfield later today with goalkeeping options currently thin on the ground at the Merseyside club.
With first choice keeper Pepe Reina suspended and back-up Alexander Doni sent off against Blackburn on Tuesday night, third choice goalkeeper Brad Jones is left as their only experienced cover.
It all means that Gulacsi is likely to be part of the Liverpool squad that travels down to Wembley for their FA Cup semi-final against Everton at the weekend.
Gulacsi made 15 appearances for the Tigers after joining on loan last summer and the club would like to thank him for his efforts and wish him well for the future.
