Lots of homes have
backyard basketball courts, and driveway hoops are almost a suburban necessity
for basketball fans, but one house located just outside Las Vegas brings the
home court to a whole new level. The sports court is made from the same
flooring and material beneath it as you’d find on a professional basketball
court, according to Ivan Sher of Shapiro and Sher Realty. And although the court is
about three-quarters the size of a full court, it comes equipped with side
posts for a volleyball net and a game-viewing area with leather
seating behind an adjacent glass wall. If viewers feel the need to run and get
a snack during the game, don’t worry: video monitors broadcast the action on
the court to screens located all over the home, so they won’t miss a second of
the game. “It’s a professional basketball player’s dream,” says Sher, yours for $4.5 million.
