An Email Service for the University of Florida

Exchange AutoDiscover Configuration Service

On Sunday, April 1, 2012, an additional method to the Exchange AutoDiscover Service will be enabled. This service assists with automatic configuration of Outlook based on user's GatorLink email address for clients without access to UFAD. For more information click here.


Microsoft Lync

Microsoft Lync replaced Microsoft Office Communicator (OCS) as the unified communications tool working with Microsoft Exchange, SharePoint, and Office applications. Lync provides many of the features as set forth with OCS. For more information click here.

 

UF Exchange/Outlook Search Maintenance

CNS-OSG performed maintenance on UF Exchange to resolve reports of "Outlook Web Access" search issues on January 18, 2012. Users who continue to experience difficulties should contact their IT support personnel or the UF Computing Help Desk.

 

Academic Health Center Disabled Mailboxes

Exchange users from the Academic Health Center (AHC) receiving an error message indicating their mailbox has been disable, need to contact their Departmental IT coordinator to resolve the problem.

 

UF Exchange and IMAP Access Changes Effective Sept. 18, 2011

UF Exchange stopped providing IMAP access to UF Exchange mailboxes via the mail.ufl.edu name. IMAP Exchange users should update their mail clients to utilize imap.mail.ufl.edu as the IMAP server name. The change became effective on Sunday, September 18, 2011. Fore more information click here.

All UF Exchange users have calendar access as well as directory, improve spam control, to do lists, reminders, and support for a wide variety of mobile devices. UF Exchange uses the same email addresses you use now!
