Spartan Squad is the official student athletic booster program of San José State University supporting SJSU athletics. Founded in the Fall of 2005 by Matthew Olivieri and Brad Villeggiante, with support from Associated Students, the Squad increases SJSU pride, unity and spirit throughout the student body.
Current undergraduate and graduate students of San José State University can join Spartan Squad. Being a part of Spartan Squad is all about having PRIDE for being a student at San José State Univeristy. By choosing to become a member and wearing your Squad shirt at sporting games and other events, you are identifying yourself as someone who cares enough to uphold Honor and Tradition while being a student at the CSU's oldest University.
