Fire Herbal Incense Multiple Products Review

Vendor: Fire Herbal Incense
PACKAGING

All of the Fire products come in... simple packaging, with the blends being in little plastic see-through baggies with a sticker, on the sticker is written the weight in grams (in pen) and how many X's they rate it (Inferno was 3 X's, for example.) and written in felt-tip pen on the baggy itself was the flavour. On every single product that had this felt-tip pen written on it, it rubbed off and i no longer knew what the flavour/aroma was inside until i opened it to remind myself.
Of all of the blends i have tried, i've never felt worried carrying it in my pocket, however the packaging for this is so simple and.. cheap? that it looks like it should contain something far more suspicious.

That being said, the packaging wasn't really what i was sampling, i just think its a factor in deciding to buy more.

CONTENT (LOOKS/AROMA)

NEPALESE TEMPLEBALLS (jungle juice) - This was an interesting product. When arrived, it arrived as a solid round ball of hash-like produce, which easily crumbled into the keef-like product it actually is. The smell from this one was delicious - a very tropical, fruity burst of aroma. Out of the two solids i tried, this was definitely had the most pleasant aroma, and of all the products they sent was my favourite aroma. The ball was grainy and crumbled instantly, kind of felt like cookie dough.

KEEF - This was basically a tub containing crystals and powdered incense, really was unsure what to do with it at first or dosage etc. but eventually we worked it out. The smell of this one was herbal, but really didn't have that much of an aroma (wasn't keen on sticking my nose in it howver, what with it being powder).

SHIVA CRYSTALS - Same as above, tub of powdered incense and crystals. Again, no real scent to this one.

LEBANESE CHOCOLATE (apple) - The aroma of this one was instantly reminiscant of
sour apple candy. It wasn't like biting into an apple at all, more biting into a sour apple straw. This is the second solid i received, however it had crumbled into powder of its own accord in the package. I really have no idea what went into this to make the unique dark brown colour, but i did like it. This one felt "fluffy" as opposed to the templeballs "grainy" texture. You ever felt a dandelion blower? felt like that, solid but not solid, airy.

HOUSE BLEND (WATERMELON) - This was the first of the herbal incenses, and only 2 X's. Definitely the weakest of the selection. All of the blends looked, tasted, felt and were very similar, with the only way i knew the stuff i had was different to the stuff i had before was the extra little X on the side of the package. The watermelon didn't really have a very strong aroma.

LIFTED (POMEGRANETE) - This was the second blend i received, see above. Flavour was weak, with the usual candy fruit aroma. Nothing pomegranete about it, however, in my opinion.

INFERNO (MANGO) - This was the third blend i received, again not much to say that i didn't already with the house blend. The mango was surprisingly nice, and very subtlely fruitlike.

EFFECTS

The effects of all of these ranged in strength, but surprisingly never in type. Every single one would start and end pretty much the same, with some lasting longer than others, or reaching a peak quicker than the others, but eventually 1 session from either would get you into the same place. Very strange. The effect was supremely subtle. It came on slowly, starting in the back of my head. And that was it. So i'd keep going. Then, my eyes would feel different. Heavier, yet more awake. I was looking at things, and seeing what shape i would have made it if i were able. It sounds weird, but i had this feeling from every single blend - a judgemental, critiquing feeling of nature itself. Moving on, we would find the neck lock. That feeling where your head is heavier than your neck can support so you overcompensate by tensing your neck muscles. Usually during the day this is where i would stop, and from here we'd have a gradual decline for about 15 minutes back down to a rather obvious sobriety. This one leaves you with a sense of loss at the end, rather than the comforting feeling some other blends can leave you with. I am not sure what causes this. During the evening, i would usually go beyond the neck lock into the mind haze. The haze would make watching TV or playing games an incredible experience, every colour vibrant and clear. This effect was highly desirable by all of my house members and people who sampled some of these products (7 of us), so we will call it the "sweet spot". Beyond the sweet spot came the intense body lock, and only the 2 powders and 2 solids were capable of bringing these with any longevity, the herbal incense didn't often put us into the "sweet spot" - but surprisingly, the weaker house blend was the stronger effecting on all of us, then the lifted, then the infero. With the Lifted being 4x, i expected it to be the player amongst the powders, but somehow it lacked the power. The final effect was the knockout. A full session of the shiva crystals often simply put me beyond the body lock into a state of dreamless sleep - i'd end up passing out if i tried to push it further. To achieve this effect from the other products would require multiple doses, but it was never a desired effect except when watching others try it. Being able to make 3 people sit on the couch basically passed out does leave one with a sense of fulfillment.

SUMMARY/SCORES

So, with that said, the effects of the products are very nice. The powders and solids were the big players,
with the incense blend being more on par with the new 3rd gen products out there. I wish the packaging was more professional, as i said earlier it is daunting to carry something like this in your pocket, especially so when taking it out in public. It looks like something i'd buy on the street corner from a guy when i was 15, down to the marker-penned flavour on the baggy.

PACKAGING 5/10 - Just too plain and seethrough for me, if a headshop carried this the packaging alone would put me off buying it.

CONTENT 9/10 (5/10 incense blends) - The high score here is for the uniqueness of the crystal blends and the solids. The actual herbal blends themselves looked exactly the same in the packets, the writing on the label being the only difference.

EFFECTS 9.5/10 What more can i say? You can tailor your effects by stopping at the right time. Can creep up on you though, so be careful.

OVERALL SCORE 8.5/10 solids/powder 6.5/10 herbal blends. I think with the right packaging and a slight change to their flavour enhancers this could be a great contender, so it is definitely one worth watching out for, and certainly worth trying if you want something different. The problem with both the solids and the powders is that you need a base, although using their incense for this purpose worked well after my initial tests, if not a little wasteful.
