Notts County Manager Keith Curle has offered four of his out of contract players new deals at Meadow Lane, including popular defender Mike Edwards and influential midfielder Gavin Mahon.
Edwards and Mahon join youngsters Liam Mitchell and Haydn Hollis in being offered new deals at the club and all four have until Friday, May 25 to put pen to paper, whilst 13 other players have been told that they will not be offered new contracts this summer, including goalkeeper Stuart Nelson.
Loanees Jonathan Forte, Lloyd Sam, Daniel Bogdanovic, Dele Adebola, Louis Harris, Kieron Freeman, Nicholas Yennaris and Damion Stewart all returned to their parent clubs at the end of the season and Notts would like to thank them all for their efforts during their time at Meadow Lane.
On a busy day of one-to-one meetings with his playing staff, Keith also told defender Krystian Pearce that he was to be made available for transfer this summer.
Striker Lee Hughes was unable to meet with Keith on Wednesday, due to personal circumstances, but will be sitting down with the Manager later in the week.
Notts can also confirm that all three youth team players who were offered professional contracts - Fabian Spiess, Jake Wholey and Greg Tempest - have all accepted deals.
