TheVine.com.au reported a student in the US put her virginity on public auction to pay for her college education.

I think it’s a tremendous idea. Why lose it to some guy in the backseat of a Toyota when you can pay for your education?

Well, she has her own logic behind but this is an open society, critics do happens.

Wired: “Zuckerberg Keynote Descends Into Chaos”

Mark Zuckerberg sat down tonight to what was expected to be a calm civilized interview by Sarah Lacy. But what he got was an intense audience that some describe as a “train wreck”.

Zuckerberg, the founder of the popular social networking site, Facebook, had all eyes on him in the soon to be awkward conversation. Lacy started off with her recognizable friendly day to day conversation with Zuckerberg, but soon found her way into a failed attempt at chipping away his wall of public defense. Still failing to stray away from the common question and answer sessions Lacy found her away into awkward situations with the audience growing tenser by the minute.

Bikini World Record

Oh, this is not a largest bikini world record, but well related to bikini. More than 1,000 Australian women donned free bikinis on Sydney’s Bondi Beach for a group photograph had won a spot in the Guinness World Book of Records.

Sony PlayStation 3 Price Chopped!

According to TGDaily, Sony has cuts $100 off the price of their 80GB PS3 console, from $599 to $499.

Besides that, Sony also announced the availability of a new entry-level model of 40GB version this coming 2nd November. This version will be priced at $399 and will include the movie Spiderman 3 on a Blu-ray disc.

Ig Nobel Prize 2007 Winners

Ig Nobel PrizesHere is a list of 2007 winners of Ig Nobel Prizes. The Ig Nobel Prizes are a parody of the Nobel Prizes and are given each year in early October — around the time the recipients of the genuine Nobel Prizes are announced. The Ig Nobel Prizes were created by the Annals of Improbable Research (AIR), a science magazine.

The Winners:

Medicine – Brian Witcombe, of Gloucestershire Royal NHS Foundation Trust, UK, and Dan Meyer for their probing work on the health consequences of swallowing a sword.

Physics – A US-Chile team who ironed out the problem of how sheets become wrinkled.

Biology – Dr Johanna van Bronswijk of the Netherlands for carrying out a creepy crawly census of all of the mites, insects, spiders, ferns and fungi that share our beds.

According to this news from TG Daily, each and every Apple employee will get an iPhone at no cost.

Apple’s CEO, Steve Jobs is giving away the $599 iPhone to Apple’s 20,000 employees. This giveaway will cost Apple about $12 millions (at retail value).
