Rockstar has announced its plans for Max Payne 3's downloadable content. According to a post on Rockstar's official site, seven DLC packs are currently planned for the game's multiplayer, and players will be able to purchase a Rockstar Pass for 2400 Microsoft Points or $29.99 that will offer access to every pack as it's released. Buying the pass is a 35% discount over buying the content individually.

The first content to be released is the Local Justice Map Pack coming in June. Local Justice includes a Police Precinct map that can be used in Gang Wars, Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch and Payne Killer modes, plus two additional maps, avatar items, multiplayer challenges and more.

Pricing for each individual pack hasn't been announced yet, but the full release schedule for Max Payne 3 content is below:

June 2012
  • Local Justice Map Pack

Summer 2012
  • Disorganized Crime Map Pack
  • Deathmatch Made In Heaven Mode Pack
  • Hostage Negotiation Map Pack
  • New York Minute Co-Op Pack

Fall 2012
  • Painful Memories Map Pack
  • Trickle Down Economics Map Pack

Max Payne 3 will be released on May 15th. For more information on the game's multiplayer, check out our interview with Rockstar's Dan Houser.
