Summer, summer, summer!!! Some part of you just opens up a relase valve and lets the steam out as soon as summer starts. Why not embrace it fully this year and fling open your arms, expand your heart-center, and welcome in the season?

Breathe deeply, walk barefoot, eat peaches. Do the things you don't do all year because it's too cold, too wet, too dark or too late. Have a picnic, meet a friend for lunch, read fiction. And enjoy! These long days start getting shorter before you know it.

While guacamole is not very forgiving of being made too far in advance, there are ways to naturally preserve its freshness and delay the effects of oxidation on the avocado (see my note at the end of the recipe).
