The Tigers have signed goalkeeper Trevor Carson on loan from Sunderland on a month-long deal, pending clearance from The Football League.
Carson will provide important cover for City with fellow goalkeepers Peter Gulacsi and Adriano Basso currently out injured.
The 23-year-old has been at Sunderland since 2004 when he joined from Northern Irish side Killyleagh Boys and has provided back-up to first choice goalkeepers Craig Gordon and Simon Mignolet during his time at the Stadium of Light.
A former Northern Ireland U21 international, Carson has also gained first team experience during loan spells with Chesterfield, Lincoln and Brentford.
Earlier this season, he made eight appearances for Bury during a two-month stay at Gigg Lane.
