    Roadway
    Traffic Engineering Operations and Roadway Engineering combined to form the new Traffic-Roadway Section (TRS) under the leadership of Bob Pappe. Bob's many years of engineering and management experience makes him an excellent statewide leader in traffic-roadway engineering and operations matters. Bob leads a team of talented, knowledgeable managers that has a wealth of combined experience. This team consists of the following:

    Douglas Bish - Traffic Engineering Services Unit Manager, Brenda Marcus - Interim Office of Project Letting Unit Manager, Mike Kimlinger - Traffic Standards & Asset Management Unit Manager, Steve Lindland - Roadway Engineering Unit Manager and Ron Singh - Geometronics Unit Manager.

Geometronics
Geometronics is part of the Technical Services Branch, Traffic-Roadway Section, serving the project development and construction engineering business of the Oregon Department of Transportation.
Roadway Engineering
Roadway Engineering provides a wide range of engineering services to our customers. The Bicycle & Pedestrian program along with the Scenic Byways program are statewide programs in Roadway Engineering.
Office of Project Letting
Specifications, Estimating, Pre-Letting and Quality Assurance was previously known as SEOPL. While our make-up is the same, our name has changed to Office of Project Letting (OPL) to better describe our services. Feel free to visit each discipline:
Traffic Engineering
Traffic Engineering provides a broad range of traffic services, including support for the State Traffic Engineer's delegated authorities, standards for application of traffic control devices, technical analysis of traffic signal operations, highway safety programs and the speed zoning program.
Traffic Standards
Traffic Standards has expertise in a wide variety of installations related to traffic signals, roadway signing and illumination. Their primary purpose is to maintain standards related to construction and specifications.

While still part of the Traffic-Roadway Section (TRS), Traffic Standards now enjoys a new name along with an independent web site dedicated to Traffic Standards issues.
2011 Statewide Roadway Conference
The 2011 Statewide Roadway Conference occurred on April 26th. The conference brought together the Roadway staff from the five Region Tech Centers, Headquarters, and the Consultant Community; providing a forum for communication and training on upcoming and current issues, discussion on the direction of Roadway policy and practice, and allowed the sharing of ideas and visions.
