  2. Portland, Oregon, has cut their weekly garbage pickup to every other week in an effort to help the city go 'green.' They are placing more emphasis on recycling and composting food scraps.

    How would you react if your city reduced the frequency of trash collection?

  5. Nearly four in 10 Americans told a new Wall Street Journal/NBC News poll that they would have "mixed feelings" if the Supreme Court struck down the whole health-care law on Thursday.

    Just over a quarter said they would be very pleased, while 17% said they would be very disappointed by that outcome.

      • Kyle Zimmerman Much of the Mac demographic are only part of that group because they are 'trend' followers. Maybe percieved by some advertisers as more susceptible to their propaganda?

      • Aoibhneas Leathchúpla China and the Saudis have already realized this "good deal"; as they are the mortgage holders for this country and laugh at our legacy and their protests and other foolhardy "banners" of anti this and anti that...just like their grandparents!
      • Thomas Arthur Food staples, other cost of living increases and unemployment make this information irrelevant. Its like saying..the world is drowning in financial woes but the U.S. is drowning with some nice shoes on.

  9. Orbitz has found that people who use Apple's Mac computers spend as much as 30% more a night on hotels, so the online travel agency is starting to show them different, and sometimes costlier, travel options than Windows visitors see.
