Mark A. Fox, M.D., F.A.C.S.

Dr. Fox received his undergraduate degree from Tennessee Technological University.  He attended medical school at the University of Tennessee, Memphis where he obtained his medical degree with highest honors.  He completed a General Surgery Residency and served as Chief Resident at the University of Tennessee, Memphis.  Dr. Fox is board certified by the American Board of Surgery as a General Surgeon and has been since 1992.  He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons which denotes training, competency and commitment to continued quality.

Dr. Fox is a leader in the field of diagnosis and treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease including anti-reflux surgical procedures and techniques.  Dr. Fox's individual experience with Transoral Incisionless Fundoplication (TIF) is unsurpassed in Tennessee and most of the southeastern United States.  His practice has been in Crossville, Tennessee for over twenty years.  His practice as a general surgeon also includes advanced laparoscopic procedures, endoscopy and critically ill patient care.
