Camilla Parker-Bowles' Style Evolution: From Prince Charles' Famous 'Other Woman' To Duchess Of Cornwall (PHOTOS)

All of the many very stylish members of the British Royal Family (Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie and Kate Middleton included) have one thing in common: A penchant for fantastically imaginative hats.

Prince Charles' wife of seven years Camilla is no exception. The Duchess of Cornwall, formerly known as Camilla Parker Bowles, might even rival the younger royals when it comes to head gear. Since she married into the family in 2005 after divorcing her husband Andrew Parker Bowles, Camilla has stepped up her formal-wear. Always a conservative dresser, Camilla favors blue, purple and pastel-colored monochromatic outfits (which include matching bags, shoes and, yes, even hats).

To celebrate the Duchess of Cornwall's 65th birthday on Tuesday July 17th, we're taking a look back at some of her craziest hats and many suits over the year. What do you think of Camilla's style?

I don't have a great deal of time for them but they were in love years before he was 'directed' to find a bride, i.e. Diana. Camilla had got married to someone else and therefore was out of bounds. Messy situation but he (stupidly) did what he was expected to do and married a young wife who could produce an heir to the throne, ie William. There was no love involved, it was part of the 'job' for someone next in line to the throne. Sadly Diana had more than enough problems of her own to sort out which weren't resolved due to her early death.

So Charles ended up with the woman he wanted from the start when they were both getting a bit long in the tooth and like anyone of their age getting to gripes with fashion, particulary hats, is not that easy. So yes, neither are folk you would leave home for but if they're happy (if stuffy for my taste) then good luck to them. Just don't look to Camilla for fashion tips !

Charles wasn't man enough for Diana. She outshone him brilliantly so he had to bring someone inferior into his life so his little ego wouldn't be bruised. As far as I'm concerned he was responsible for the death of his children's mother. He has no class, no integrity. Camilla reflects outside her vile inside. If she had an ounce of Diana's character and grace inside her even with her average looks she would be beautiful but she doesn't so she refelcts the darkness.

Camilla looks like what she is, a woman in her mid sixies who has had childern and has not always gotten what she wanted. Sounds like most of us. For those of you that think she looks like a dog, shame on you. Look at yourself at her age or you mother or sister or wife. No nips or tucks or injections, just older woman the way she is suspose to be.

These are some of the best pictures I've seen of her. I like her hair, just wish Hiliery Clinton would copy it because it is an easy to do style. Most of her outfits I'd wear if I was inclined to wear dresses and had the money or place to wear them. She dresses for the occasion, doesn't over do the makeup and most of the hats look like fun. I loved the one with the green feather.

poor Dianna went in blind and stupid. What would you expect from a man you barely knew that was so much older? What did Di and Charles have in common? I'm truly sorry Di was killed but she should have married someone else.

Probably because she was shagging him, knowing he was married to another? Says a lot about a person, IMO...and he's even worse. They deserve each other. It just goes to show that no matter how wealthy you are, you cannot buy class or respect.

yeah...but havent they been together for over a decade now? Its funny that people are so quick to judge. He married Diana because he was told to, he didnt love her.... Sucks for Di, (yes i know she is dead) but holding a grudge against two elderly people who obviously werent a fling, is ridiculous. Especially when it has zero to do with any you. Its not the people's relationship, they are human beings. Just stupid rich human beings that are glorified for whatever reason. Royalty means nothing if you are useless.

Instead of commenting on her situation, I am commenting on her fashion as was requested. I think overall, her style of clothing is very attractive. Her clothing is well styled, colors are usually well suited. The hats on the other hand need help. As I reveiwed the pictures, I decided it wasn't the hat shape but all of the feathers or fru-fru attached to the hats. My suggestion - get rid of the junk attached to the hats and make sure the hat size isn't too big. Some of the hats were so large, that it looked as out of balance and in some cases - looked like she could topple over.
