2012 Recycle Schedule

Recycling Becomes Mandatory for Many Businesses and Multi-family Units
AB 341 takes effect on July 1, 2012 and requires a business, defined to include a commercial or public entity that generates more than 4 cubic yards of commercial solid waste per week or is a multi-family residential dwelling unit of 5 units or more to arrange for recycling services, on and after July 1, 2012. New Springville Interchange Opens
The City of Camarillo recently completed construction of the new Springville Drive/U.S. 101 Freeway Interchange Project and the interchange was opened for use on June 8, 2012. More information HERE.

Cruise Nights in Old Town
Camarillo Old Town is revving up for a wild spring and summer full of fun activities for residents and visitors alike.
Cruise Nights, hosted by the Camarillo Old Town Association, return to Camarillo Old Town. This annual program features more than 150 classic cars from the 1980’s and older on display, live music, and strolling and shopping along the boulevard. Six Cruise Nights are scheduled in Camarillo Old Town through September, on the fourth Friday of each month. More information HERE.

Attend Ventura County Housing Trust Fund - Public Information Meeting
Please join the VCHTF Board Members and Staff on August 28, 2012, at 8:30 a.m. for a Public Information meeting. VCHTF will share Draft Program Policies and Procedures, and Draft Loan Review and Underwriting Guidelines for the VCHTF "Revolving Loan Fund". VCHTF would like input from for-profit or nonprofit developers of multifamily housing, planners, bankers, or affordable housing industry professionals before the first Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA) is issued later this year.
