- 'No Country for Old Men' (2007) Directed by Joel and Ethan Coen. Tommy Lee Jones just fits well within the Western genre, and though No Country for Old Men might be what's called a Neo-Western, it still counts as enough of a Western.
- 'The Fugitive' (1993) Directed by Andrew Davis. The Fugitive is a movie that stars Harrison Ford, and he is undeniably great... but many would argue it's a film that Tommy Lee Jones essentially steals.
- 'Lonesome Dove' (1989) Directed by Simon Wincer. Westerns don't get much more epic in scope or narrative than Lonesome Dove. Kennedy.
