Caterack Dies - World's Oldest Cat Was 30!
Oct 23, 2009
Caterack, a 30-year old cat has passed away. Owned by Alisa Morris and dubbed the world's oldest cat, the 30-year old feline finally ran out of life. Stunningly she adopted this kitty back in the seventies and the tough cat stuck it out until Thursday. He died peacefully.
That means the senior citizen feline made it through several different presidents (Carter, Reagan, Bush 41, Clinton, Bush 43 and Obama). A report from MSNBC News notes that the oldest cat ever recorded was a 38-year-old feline named Creme Puff, according to a rep from Guinness World Records. That cat died in 2005.
