Benny Hinn's Buckets 'O' Cash
Time to starve the money monster

It is estimated that Benny Hinn Ministries rakes in between $100 million to $200 million per year from his faithful followers. The amount of interest the money gathers in the bank(s) must be astounding.
To keep the cash flowing on a regular basis, during a crusade, members of Hinn's bucket brigade distribute plastic buckets to the audience, with the knowledge that the empty buckets will transform into buckets full of cash.
Over the years, Benny Hinn has mastered the art of rescuing his followers from their money. The mega-million dollar monster he created is greedy and voracious, and begs to be fed on a daily basis.
Yet, Hinn's money monster has a warped sense of humor. As Hinn's financial supporters scrape together their monthly donations, the monster allows Hinn to live in a multi-million dollar home, drive expensive automobiles, fly to exotic destinations in a multi-million dollar jet, wear custom-tailored clothing, relax in five-star hotels, dine on chef-prepared meals, and be surrounded by a small army of highly paid staff members and top level bodyguards.
Those who have been conditioned to expect a 10 to 100 fold increase from their donations continue to feed Hinn's gluttonous monster, but receive nothing in return, except appeals for more money, that is.
But when compared to the money the entire Word of Faith movement rakes in per year, the money collected by Benny Hinn Ministries is only a drop in the bucket.
Billions, not millions.
In his letter to Timothy, the Apostle Paul warned that falling prey to the money monster is dangerous, and carries with it severe consequences:
But those who want to get rich fall into temptation and a snare and many foolish and harmful desires which plunge men into ruin and destruction. For the love of money is a root of all sorts of evil, and some by longing for it have wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs (1 Timothy 6:9-10).
Remember this: The only ones who prosper from the prosperity teachings are those who preach prosperity. As such, it is time to leave Benny Hinn's plastic buckets empty, and put his money monster on a starvation diet.
