Cardiff City Football Club are pleased to announce that the deal to bring Tommy Smith to the club from Queens Park Rangers has been completed this morning.

Only just thinking of studying a College course this year? It may not be too late.

Tommy has signed a two year deal for an undisclosed fee and will be available for selection for the match against Bristol City on Saturday, along with fellow newcomer Matthew Connolly who also signed from QPR this week. Matthew will take squad number twelve, while Tommy will be wearing number fourteen this season.

Check back for reaction and more right here later today, starting with Malky Mackay's pre-match press conference this morning which will be available to view in full on Cardiff City Player.
