Bill Clinton: WikiLeaks will cost lives
This week's WikiLeaks document release will cost lives and jobs, former President Bill Clinton said in his first public comments on the issue that has embroiled his wife's State Department.
"I'll be very surprised if some people don't lose their lives," Clinton said while speaking in North Carolina on Tuesday night. "And goodness knows how many will lose their careers."
Continue ReadingHillary Clinton has said that WikiLeaks' acts are illegal and the former president echoed that view, saying that the site's founder and editor Julian Assange knows he did something criminal. But, Bill said "that doesn't mean that he did succeed in evading the reach of American law," the Associated Press reported.
The former president also said Democrats should clarify their views on Wall Street and big business. "We just need to get in and clean that up," he said. "I'd figure out what it would take for them to start lending again. If it wasn't illegal or immoral, I'd do it."

Bill Clinton: ". "I'd figure out what it would take for them to start lending again. If it wasn't illegal or immoral, I'd do it." -----Part of the reason lending isn't in high gear is fear. Another part is lack of demand. We already know that illegality and immorality are NOT impediments to Mr. Clinton.

Please turn up the speed on the automated batting cage machine of unintentional political humor. That one is just too easy.
I blame Obama and H. Clinton on this information getting out.
Old Bill is looking old.
The only lives I see in danger are the congressmen, et al, public figures. I guess the vote on net neutrality can't come fast enough for these people. obama already said we have too much information, guess Google/Verizon are the instruments of choice to limit what that excess information is.
Shut your pie hole Slick Willy - endanger your wife's job and any chance at President - that's what has Slick upset.
Just think of all those impressionable young interns he won't be able to grope.
BILL Yeah sure Billy, you have so much credibility and people need to believe you..yada yada yada

The only life in danger from Wikileaks is Assange's now that he will be going after a big bank.
People like Clinton costs lives. His brand of government is nothing more than a continuation of Reagan-nomics. Let's hear it for Famine, Death, Disease! Where is the proof that Wikileaks has cost just one life?
All true. Now why doesn't he tell his wife and her do-nothing, perpetually-vacationing boss to do something about it?
kind of like when clinton and aspin denied tanks to our troops in mogadishu. soldiers died.
Probably Julian Assange is the only life in danger from these leaks. Much of that last set of documents was unflattering gossip.
With Bill and Hillary upping the ante Assange's days are probably numbered.
Yeah and Clinton's incompetency and failure to act cost a lot of lives on 9/11. Launch cruise missiles on known positions of Osama and the Taliban? Nahhhh, too busy molesting interns in the Oval Office.
At least Wikileaks lets us know a little bit about whats going on. Washington and the Eastern establishment plays hide the ball with us. For example, I am interested and pleased to learn China is out of patience with N. Korea. So lets cut them slack on the yuan if they cut off N. Korea from aid so it will collapse and reunite with S. Korea. Then, we can bring home 40,000 troops and save billions and billions. Without Wikileaks we would never have known this or not until the Freedom of Info Act kicked in 20 years from now. And everyone can see the totalitarianism of China when one senior leader there gets ****ed at his Google site and he decides to kick Google out of the country. Anyone that thinks China even has a little freedom should be enlightened by this Wikileaks info. Grow up Washington and tell us the truth or Wikileaks will.
If Bill had followed Regans lead we may not have gotten into the mess we are in now. How many lives did Bill cost us. I like the leaks, lets get our Gov. honest Oh I forgot I am talking about Mr. honesty himself. So faithful to his wife. How about Whitewater. When are we going to start putting the crooks in our Gov. in jail. What if I had walked away from a drowning woman like Ted Kenndy did where would I have been for the next 20 yrs of my life.

Not since the World Trade Center bombing has America faced such a breach of its security. The WikiLeaks have penetrated the nations defenses and have weakened its war against terrorism. But all is not lost, the thrust of the enemy will be met with new resolve and they will be defeated.
Pundits can't make up their minds. the leaks are for gossips or terrorists? Hmm I sense a 24 hour news cycle to be filled.
WikiLeaks' Assange Targeted by Interpol
As the latest WikiLeaks revelations continue to reverberate around the world, the man at the centre of it all is facing a legal backlash. Julian Assange, the WikilLaks website founder, is now the subject of an Interpol "red notice. http://www.newslook.com/videos...
