"This recording arrives completely serendipitously, capturing a moment in time. We came together as four musicians on the eve of a highly-anticipated holiday performance at the White House, rehearsing at the Liaison Hotel in Washington, DC. It wasn't long before we realized that something very special was happening, as the violin, baritone guitar and voices in harmony were filling the room. I said 'we should make a holiday CD, and I wish we could do it right now!'  To which John said, 'I'll make a call.' The next thing we knew, we were putting a wrap on a recording at 2:00 in the morning somewhere in Northern Virginia. We hope you will enjoy this as much as we enjoyed creating it with joyful hearts and a lot of laughter, deep in to the cold, quiet night of winter."
