Real Housewives star Paul Nassif 'accuses Adrienne Maloof of attacking him' as they meet in court

All hopes of a reconciliation between The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills estranged stars Paul Nassif and Adrienne Maloof appear to have ended - after he 'accused her of attacking him'.

The reality stars met in court today to discuss the custody of their three sons, who are currently living with Maloof in the former marital home.

According to gossip website TMZ plastic surgeon Dr Nassif's lawyer alleged in court that Maloof 'pushed him and been verbally abusive' in front of their children, calling him 'stupid, dumb and an idiot.'

According to a declaration filed today and seen by the website, the couple's head of security witnessed Maloof hit and scratch her husband in the back of their car last summer, before he called her a 'bitch.'

Both have separately filed for divorce citing irreconcilable differences in their nine-year marriage.

Dr Nassif's lawyer also accused Maloof of taking an unloaded gun out of his briefcase and photographing it.

According to RadarOnline Maloof accepts that she did this, with a source saying she wanted evidence that he was carrying the weapon.

A source close to the 50-year-old told the website: 'During Paul's visit with the children last week, which takes place at Adrienne's mansion, she took a picture of the gun because she is very concerned about the safety of their three children and wanted photographic evidence of it.

'Yes, Paul does keep the ammunition in another bag, but it's still extremely dangerous to have that around children, especially boys.'

In court today Dr Nassif applied for custody of the children and for the judge to order Maloof to leave the family mansion so her could move back in.

His request was denied.

Dr Nassif is seeking joint custody of their children but sources have suggested that this wife wants to fight for full custody.

The couple have a pre-nuptial agreement in place and Maloof, whose fortune is said to total $300 million, is said to be confident it will protect her family fortune.

She is the only daughter of billionaire entrepreneur George J Maloof Sr.

Her myriad of business interests include the various holdings of Maloof Companies, of which she is co-owner - notably the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas, the basketball team Sacramento Kings, development company Maloof Productions, and record company Maloof Music.

Paul was always my favorite husband on RHoBH. I'm so sad they're getting a divorce but since they are.... PAUL, CALL ME! He always seemed so nice and funny :)

I watched this series. The husband was antagonistic all the time, relentless. He would say the weirdest, poorly timed comments in group situations.

it was obvious in every scene they were in in all the RHOBH series that she has absolutley no respect for him whatsoever. she sometimes could barely disguise her disdain for him. i felt sorry for him. he seemed a nice guy who'd just given up.

I hope he will find someone who's a lot nicer to him than her. She always treated him with disrespect and disdain on the series. And maybe his next gf/wife can prepare and cook a chicken without washing it with handsoap, lol....

She was very mean and nasty to him on the last season of RHOBH so it doesn't surprise me. She's got a mean streak.
